Yet again the table cloth has been damaged again, this is not long after it was recovered after the last time the cloth got ripped. As of today the table will be covered and anyone who want to play on it will need to speak to a member of staff first, as they will be monitoring who is playing the table and be not misusing it.
It was very clear how it got damaged this time as a very noticeable mark on the where someone has decided to put much bottom on the ball it has left a thick blue mark where whoever done hit more of the D than the ball.
I am not saying this was a Bar billiards player, it could be anyone that wants to have a game on the table. It is very annoying that whoever has done this did not say anything about it.
Not something i want to do but if the table keeps getting damaged i will have no option but to take the table out of the pub. Kate from the pub has said she is going to go through the CCTV to see if anything can be seen.

Hopefully the culprits will be identified but I am sure it is not anyone from the bar billiard community. This is so frustrating for Stuart and Alan (not to mention costly) as they try and maintain a good table and do a lot of work with the venue to keep them interested in the game and keeping a table in their venue. Find it more annoying that nobody has the decency to inform the pub that they have accidently (one hopes it is accidental) damaged someone else's property.
Understand the need for the pub to monitor and supervise the table use but such a shame for our game as it is good when new people play and show an interest. Also agree if it keeps happening it is not financially viable to keep a table at the venue. Kate the landlady is very supportive and I for one trust she will get to the bottom of who has damaged the table.
