With the Premier division going down to the last week I have copied below the relevant league rule if there is a tied situation.
" 2 points will be awarded for a win and 1 point for a draw. League positions will be determined by points won. If more than one team has the same number of points, teams will be positioned according to number of games won. If any teams in Championship, promotion or relegation positions finish the season level on points and games won, the deciding factors will be the results between the teams involved as follows: the number of points won between the teams involved, for the total number of league matches played against each other during the same season will determine position. If still level, the number of individual league games won between the teams involved during the same season will decide final position. If there is still not a difference, then there will be a play off between the teams concerned at a neutral venue. The match will be played according to Match Rules C8 with a toss of coin to determine home and away teams."

The Stag's Head A are 2 points (and 1 match win) ahead of the Prince of Wales and also have a superior "Legs Won" (54v21 compared to 51v24), but the Prince beat them 3-2 at the Stag earlier this season. So, if I have read that correctly, should the Prince beat them tonight the teams would end up level on points and match wins over the season however the Prince of Wales would be league champions - even if the Stag's Head A have a superior leg difference over the season?

TJ, for the sake of absolute clarity, are you able to confirm my understanding that the word "games" in the rule refers to "legs" rather than "matches"?
So that the tie-break sequence is as follows: (1) points, (2) legs won, (3) head-to-head record.
And that therefore, in the following scenarios:
POW 3-2 Stag, level on points, Stag ahead 56 legs to 54, Stag win the league.
POW 4-1 Stag, level on points, level on 55 legs won, POW win the league by virtue of head-to-head.

Hi Mark,
I’m sure TJ will confirm but the way we have been told and understood, is as you have explained only a 4-1 win for the POW will see us take the league ahead of yourselves by virtue of head to head record.

Mark you are correct the rule needs to be worded better for future seasons to stop any misunderstanding, i.e. legs won

Or, the Stag A could make everything really simple and win the match!

Stags Head B 3-2 The Vine **Chris Tupper 8650 - 4590 Neil Higgins - Tupps off early, 4.5k for Neil, no mistake second time from Chris with 7k and touch Matthew Knight 550 - 6020 Trevor Rees** - 3 breaks for Trevor, try as I might could not get them back until it was too late Jean Brackenridge 6560 - 7630 Paul Barnett** - 7k opener from Paul, Jean, tight for time, missed, first to get them back and played out to the bar **Phil Osborne 10,840 - 2660 Ros Appleby - Lovely 10,840 opener from Phil, Ros played it out to the shortened bar **Nigel Senior 25,510 - 0 Trevor Rees (4 player) - Brilliant 25,510 break from Nige, red staying slightly more right than usual made things slightly trickier and led to 3 costly excursions meaning Joe's high break was safe, despite Nigel's great recent attempts Well done to the Prince of Wales on winning the Premier Division title this year, commiserations to the Stags Head A. Well done to Alex A on winning Division 1 Valiant effort from us to defend our crown, great play from the guys and girl, one guy must definitely do better! Thank you to Jim for providing such a great table and to Heather for feeding us, final thanks to Bob for all his support and keeping Phil company on some long journeys
