Sound familiar ?
Windmill GG 4, Alfold SC 1 Steve 7480, Chaz 610 Clive 3300, Dave 1690 Paul 1510, Super-Malc 1570 Graham 8990, Kelly 1270 Steve (4-plyr) 5080, Mike 1090
Dave ran me close in game 2. Paul an early BP and couldn't get re-established. Malc a worthy winner as he needed a last-ball 400 to win and got it at the third attempt. Graham logged his fifth 8k-plus on the bounce.....I think he likes the table. The rest was the "Steve show".
Fair game to our intrepid opponents who braved the elements and turned up with a full side. A pleasant evening spent in their company.

Rssc 4 Mucky Duck 1
Twig 6080 Colin 850 John 4510 Porge 5550 Steve 4160 Mick 1870 Pete 5300 Steve 3550 Moose 7190 Ding 1010
Game 1 Colin a bit late so Mick Played Steve to keep the breaks correct. Mick off early giving Steve an opening but Uunable to get going. A few more goes and Steve got the balls back and made a useful 3k enough to take the leg.
Second up me and Porge. We've had some battles this year and this was another. My break off with nearly 4k and a Bit of a battle as I have knackered and very painful left shoulder. A couple of goes and Porge got them back and made Avery steady 5k to get by me. One last chance but a very unlucky spin out put pay to my chance 1-1
Third on Twig and Colin ,Colin on and off quickly and Dave balls back. Skipper in good form at the moment and a cracking 6k and eventual tap was enough.
Next on Pete and Steve. Pete's break off with 1500. Plenty of goes each but Steve doing the better built up a lead. Pete Then played well to clear up and made a match winning 3k .
Last but not least Moose and Ding. Level break last leg with Lee making the most of it and Ding unusually struggling. A very steady leg by our super sub and a very good 4-1 win.
A lovely evening as always with the Duck boys and girls. Fun chat and banter. Good to catch up with friend and teammate Dick. It's a painful slog for him at the moment but with his determination he will get well.
