Railway 2 Cricketers 3
Colin 1460 Dick 2550 Grant 1940 Mick 1370 Lee 980 Ricky 5160 Dave 3500 Bill 910 Scott 1940 Brian 2680
Game 1: Stodgy game. Dick finding the break worked back to front. Game 2: Early lead from Clacky, Grant managed to reel him in and get far enough in front at the end. Game 3: Dude kicked off with 2k, never looked in trouble. Nothing going for Lee. Game 4: Dave led from the off, Nothing going for Billy Game 5: Level after first breaks, looking like it was going to be a close game. Boycie struggled on, Scott not so much.
Fun evening with plenty of chat. Table slightly spiteful on occasions. Good spread of sandwiches to finish. 😋

Roffey cc 3 Roffey ssc 2
Jim 1410 John 5300 Dave 2520 Twig 1140 John 1580 Melvin 2950 Chelsea 4570 Moose 2060 Noggs 4170 Pete 3930
First up it always happens me and Jim. Me on with break steady these days with dodgy shoulder but off with 5k albeit a shade fortunate On my final shot. A few more goes and I cleared the table and head down going well. Approaching 6k break and having a crack at the league Top score disaster went to tickle a 100 in, to thick and spun into white peg. Bar was due so leg safe.
Up second Twig and Sandsy. Dave off early but Twig unable to get going. The game turned into a right old slog with plenty of goes each. Dave Managing to keep a lead ran out a deserved winner 1-1.
Game 3 Jt and his Tuesday teammate Melvin our deputy for the night. As in the previous leg a right old struggle but John got them back late On but trying to chase Melvs score awful shot break lost as well as frame.
Chelsea on with break next against Moose. Even Stevens for quite a while till Brian got them back and as he does dug out a slow 3k break. No time for Lee to get back into the frame. 2-2.
Last but not least Pete and Noggs on a level break start and as it turned out closest one of the night. With the lead changing hands a number Of times Pete eventually got his nose in front. Noggs battling along made a late 2k to regain the lead. Time running out Pete nearly caught Keith But not quite.
A fun evening with plenty of friendly banter and bragging rights to the cricket Club. Next showdown Team cup.
