63 - A very tricky and clever question - having a stab as it is doing my head in. Is it King Kong and the leading lady is the Statue of Liberty made by the Frogs as a gift to new York ?

It's not a trick question, Norman. Though I like your answer and will award it a point. This film sold more tickets than any other in history, and won ten academy awards. Leaderboard: 1. Lord Cheeky 5pts 2= Sir KT 3pts 2= Stormin' 3pts

The Statue of Liberty was delivered to New York in 1886 so it WAS cast before the film King Kong was shot and The Statue was the BIGGEST lady in the film. Not a trick question Tommo I agree, but one with two conceivable correct answers and I did not goggle it ! Thanks for the point.

Both of Sir KT's answers are correct, 2pts earned. Whilst Lord Cheeky gets a point for the most serious contender, Robert Redford, plus half a point each for the two sex maniacs, Beatty and Burt Ward.

62. Judy Garland. I can only think that it would be a child actor and she is the only one I can think of. 66. Rex Harrison. I'm guessing here. I know that he was blind in one eye after an illness. 77. I maybe confusing this with someone else. Was it that he was playing his Saxophone in a bar Greenwich Village, New York, rather than go to the awards?

H & J are spot on with no.63 for 1pt: Much to Stormin's annoyance no doubt - he tried so hard on that one. ;)
Regg3y is incorrect on 62; spot on with 66 for a point; and deserving of 1.5pts for the reason for Woody's absence -although it was clarinet.

62. Greta Garbo or Joan Crawford or Norma Shearer? 76. Young Frankenstein directed by Mel Brookes 79. Seven? 62 Joan Crawford from the selections given is correct - 1pt 76 Correct for 1.5pts 79 Out by one: the answer strangely is six. The film is about a group of women caught in New Guinea just when the Japanese are taking over Indonesia and its contiguous islands in 1942. The women range from an ornithologist, to a nurse, to a thief, and a waitress, all captured and put into a Japanese prison camp. But the women manage to escape, though not all survive, and later on they encounter a double-dealing plantation owner (Cesar Romero) who unknown to them, is collaborating with the Japanese and plans on sending them back to their captors. The six character names in the credits are Grace, Claire, Mara, Janet, Mai-Lu and Anna. 0.5pts for nearly right. So for Lord Cheeky, 62 is obviously incorrect, he stays on 7pts. Leaderboard: 1. Sir KT 8pts 2. Lord Cheeky 7pts 3. Stormin' 3pts 4. Regg3y 2.5pts 5. H&J 1pt Just three (64,69 & 78) to get.........
