Railway 3 Mucky Duck 2
Dave 3630 Colin 2060 Lee 2260 Mick 930 Scott 2280 Porge 1700 Grant 1390 Steve 2080 Colin 1220 Colin (4pr) 1310
Game 1: Colin opened with a 1k5, Dave replied with 2k7 which proved enough. Game 2: Lee steadily added score, nothing going for Mick. Game 3: Pretty level frame, Scott got his nose in front towards the end leaving Porge without enough balls. Game 4: Reverse of fortunes, Steve always in front. Valiant effort from Grant, a couple of balls short at the end. Game 5: Battle of the Colins in the final frame of the season was a bizarre affair. By the 10th visit each, Colin (R) had amassed a sum of 300 and BP'd, meanwhile Colin (MD) had yet to keep a score. The game finally peaked in a buttock clenching finale when Colin (MD) played out the final few balls to within 10 points. His first attempt at the 100 took the frame!
A very entertaining evening with our chums from the Mucky Duck with some cut-throat games and plenty of banter. Ding not present tonight, sunning herself in her Pyjamas, I believe... or was that the Bahamas? Either way, shows lack of commitment I think. 😉
Evening rounded off with an excellent Chilli, thanks Nathan.

Cricketers 4 Rssc 1 Final catch up game.
Dick 4770 moose 4000
Mick 8500 Pete 520 Billy 320 John 8590 Ricky 7070 Twig 790 Brian 2970 Moose 1000 4 player
First up Dick and Lee and Lee's break. Looking ok but off fairly early on the 50. Dick next to get them back And took a steady lead. A bit of top of the table play and Lee balls back and a break to level it.A good battle And pretty close until Dick made enough at the end.
Game 2 and Clacky v Pete. Mick's break and a very steady 3k opener. Pete struggling with the top Mick playing Really well added some more. With Pete having not much luck Mick cleared them once more and another Good break and he ran out a good winner.
Yours Truly and Billy ( yet again we seem to play each other a lot). My break and off early when a one up came inside !!! A bit off tip tapping and I managed to get it back. Sussed It I thought but off on 2K. Bill unluckily hitting more pegs than holes I eventually got them back again. Sorted Super thin one up played it out with 5k plus.
4th up and Ricky with the break against Twig. Looked ominous for captain but Rick god knows how put the One up behind !!!. Twig very generously didn't capitalize and Rick head down took full advantage with a couple Of half decent breaks the game was gone.
Last but not least Boycie and Moose for his second bash of the night. Brian's break and off early Lee thinking To himself I know how to play it but no. Game was a scrappy last leg with loads of goes and pegs. Eventually Brian falling over the line and a 4-1 home win to end the season.
A Lovely evening with the Cricks lads loads of fun and friendly banter. With Moose vowing to make a full time Comeback. Will be great as we struggled for a side most of the year missing Dick and Sniffer. Evening rounded Off with a selection of pizzas. Very nice..
