Hi Everybody
Due to the fact that all four finalists for this year's team cup competitions were decided in a previous round, the two Team Cup matches between the Windmill and The Railway, and the match between Roffey SSC and Roffey Cricket Club will NOT be played
However the Plate match between The Cricketers and The Mucky Duck will be played at the Mucky Duck to decide bragging rights at the Mucky Duck for the coming year
Best Wishes
JT

Cricki-Duck-iters 4 Mucky Duck Brian 4,480 Ding 980 Brian struggling to get both balls on the break.....would have been a massive score if he had managed it. Ding jet lagged having returned from Barbados.......no sympathy there then.
Dicky 2,310 Podge 3,770 Nip and tuck this one Dicky losing couple of thousand plonking the break down 4 times that cost him the game. Porge steady as usual and made the most of his chances.
Billy 3,880 Colin 1,020 Bill off early, Colin off early, Bill made a couple of useful breaks and nothing going for Colin.
Ricky 6,740 Steve 1,750 Steve leaving break short on first go, Ricky making a useful 3k, Steve got the balls back and made a 1k break (meanwile Ricky was attacked by a man eating spider) Ricky got the balls back to see the game out.
Mick C 7,890 Mick J 1,430 Mick C broke of with 3k, Mick J came back with a 1k break, Mick C made another 4k break to make the game safe.
A lovely evening spent with friends rounded of with the usual superb pizzas. A special thanks to Mick J for financing both the games and the pizzas, and allowing us to play on the Duck table when we were made homeless earlier in the season. Hopefully we will be returning to the Cricketeres for next season.

Welcome back Clacky, Have missed your light-hearted humour..... Ricky attacked by a man eating a spider ? Presumably Billy's onions having all gone by this time prompted this desperate measure.

Hi Clive, Yes the spider was massive, it jumped onto Ricky' s head from an adjacent cob web and started to chew his hair.......it must have been at least 3mm long.
Sad news about Steve King, I only met him a few times but he seemed a really nice chap.

Nursery crymes at the Mucky Duck: First we had Ding Dong Bell, then Georgie Porgie, Sparrow with his bow and arrow ...... and now Little Miss Muffet ! Thanks, have added to the list of tributes on the Billingshurst website.
