I can't post my complaint there so I will start another one here.
I don't think its fair to give away half a point to Milhouse because he spotted 7+14+28 = 49 when the question said a day will come and the only day his answer is true is on THEIR birthday which is one day only. The day after there bitrthdays this statement is not true.
Give me my half a point back !!!!!!!!

Beefy,
I might have viewed your complaint more seriously had you added one little word "please".
As it is, I don't think I was being unfair as:
1) Someone else queried it to me in a private message, offering the same solution as Milhouse.
2) It was an ex gratia (bonus) point anyway.
3) I only gave Nigel the statutory one point on a difficult one to solve - he might start clamouring for more ! ;)
In the circumstances, appeal not upheld.
By the way, I have to lock my own quiz threads for convenience - the quiz room would be far more difficult to administer otherwise.
You will see that I don't lock those started by anyone else, out of courtesy.
I confirm that you have followed the best procedure for re-opening discussion.
