Windmill GG 3.5, Compasses 1.5 Clive 4310, Nobby 2420 Graham 2730, Porge 3540 Paul 4770, Mick 440 Johnny 2530, Sparrow 1700 Both teams light of players at this stage of the season, so a tie agreed for the last game (- no foreplay !)
Table a bit 'Mr Whippy' tonight (minus the Flake). Nobby particularly luckless against me, and an understandably out-of-sorts Mick (who won twice here last year) couldn't make any sense of it tonight. Our thoughts and best wishes to Ding. Games 2 and 4 were close up to the bar.

ROFFEY CRKT CLUB 1 THE RAILWAY 0
Presumably that was a 4-1 win to the Railway, as Stuart and Colin both had Top Eight scores ...

It was actually 5-0 to us but JT’s trying to pull a fast one.
So, here's how it went....
Roffey Cricket Club 0 Railway 5
Tony 1020 Lee 2060 JT 1570 Colin 3700 Jim 1500 Grant 2420 Mick - Dave 2900 Dave 2540 Scott 4050
Game 1 A tentative frame in which Tony proved rustier than Lee. Game 2 Two early breaks from Colin, too much for JT to pull back Game 3 Slow and steady Grant. Jim's flashes of inspiration thwarted by the table. Game 4 Dave lost his opener, Micky got going twice and blew it. Dave fortunate to be enough in front at the end. Game 5 Scott led from the off, good performance from Dave though.
Am interesting evening of Bar Billiards. Bit of a Halloween table tonight, made you feel comfortable playing then messing with the laws of Physics when you least expect it. Only think we won cos we didn't mention Bonfire Night within earshot of the table....!

Hi Everybody
It is nice to know that my deliberate mistake was spotted so early by the chairman
Also, because Brian,s 3,380 looked like 8,380, he has been replaced in the top eight scores by Porge
I will do better next week
