Hi all. I introduced a table into a club in Folkestone last year. Am currently running a knockout cup which has led to me being asked to introduce a league. Most of the players are brand new to bar billiards (roughly 16 players) so here is what I'm thinking.
Based on normal rules (3 pin)... ONE shot at a time per player. This way, players will get more table time instead of having to stand there watching if their opponent is on for 5 to 10 mins etc.
Thoughts please
Cheers Gregg

Think your wasting a lot of table time if players are only taking one shot and then leaving the table and another player getting to the table
Why not have a limit of say 1000 or even 750. This way players can settle and have a few shots (unless they miss) and build up there score a bit more.

I've talked with Greg today and suggested three shots each turn rather than one, gives a chance to set something up.
Cannot get over there at present.
