Perhaps I can take some of the pressure off Tommo!
What connects the following artists? Look for the simplest connection, although some are not that obvious!
One point for each on my list. If it's not on my list - too bad - have another guess!
Here we go...
Bob Marley
EXAMPLE CONNECTION - ZIGGY (Bob Marley had a son called Ziggy & Bowie wrote Ziggy Stardust)
David Bowie
1? Duke! - Tommo has it!
Genesis
2? Peter Gabriel - 1pt to Tommo
Kate Bush
3? Rocket Man - Well done KT
Elton John
4? Both have had a tune used by Top Gear - KT 1 pt
Allman Brothers Band
5? Both had a live album at the Filmore East - KT 1pt
Humble Pie
6? Steve Marriott - Tommo's point
Small Faces
7? Park - Tommo again!
Blur
8? Colchester! - 1pt Tommo
Jay Kay
9? Jamiroquai - KT 1pt
Canned Heat
10? Monterey!
Moby Grape

I'll go for 1) and leave Sir KT the other one out of fairness. ;)
I can find three links between Bowie and Genesis - in reverse order : c) Dance - (Let's Dance/We Can't Dance) b) Eno - Brian Eno has collaborated with both a) Duke - album by Genesis/ Bowie is known as the Thin White Duke.

Not Filmore, but it was in 1967
Not the IOW
Maybe the first big outdoor festival...other headliners were Mamas and Papas and Grateful Dead.
