Brewery Tap A 5 -0 Albion A
C.Reeves 22,010(break) - 450* Jean Over G.Lloyd 23,020*(break) - 680 Caroline Retfalvi N.Senior 20,010 (break) - 2,250* Alan Brackenridge M.Chipman 7,710* - 280 B.Stoner R.Wooton 18,100 - 250* D.Dawson
Brewery Tap secure final berth and nearly beat the team scoring record for Brighton after scoring 3 20k breaks between them. They scored a total of 90,850 just some 1,700 points shy of the Stadium's 92,560 v. Dyke in Jan 2001. I believe though this score sets a new record for a neutral venue, beating the Stadium's 80,110 against the Legion @ Warren club in Worthing League, Feb 2001.
Gareth also set a new high break and score for this season.

Congrats to the Tap on nearly making history. You didn't say where though Nigel - must have been at either the Dyke or the Windmill.

From the Plate Comp.
Kendal 2 - 3 Romans A @ The Stadium (Bar)
No scores to hand but the Kendal started off badly with wins for Alan Mepham, Paul Pitfeild and Terry Stapleton. The two Petes made the scoreline slightly respectable.

sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings Bernie
it was 2 all with Mark and I to play the decider
Mark had probably just about done enough but with 6 balls in the tray and 610 required. I played the perfect end game to win by 40.
Final result Stadium 3 Albion 2

Final result Stadium 3 Albion 2 Oh well it would have been nice to have reached the final in my first & last year in Brighton but no complaints, sounds like a good close game and the better team on the night won. Congratulations
