A rare outing into Horsham for me tonight, but the chance to play at the Limeburners was just too much of a temptation..... ;D
Limeburners 1 Handcross Club 4
Ray Sawyer 5,100 - 1,620 Chris Kirkham Chip found it easier than Chris to get the balls back and knocked in a couple of solid breaks to take the opening game for the home team. 1-0 :(
Ding Johnson 630 - 10,230 Dave Ingram I found the break and split straight away and opened with just over 9k to make sure of the game, the back of the table proved a bit tougher. Sorry Ding...... :-[ 1-1 ;D
Tony Temple 1,380 - 1,980 Jenny Edwards A real battling display from Jenny to hold onto the lead with Tony having very little luck. Well played Jen.... 1-2 ;D
Mick Johnson 360 - 6,090 Darrell Skinner After a slow start, Darrell settled into a couple of solid breaks to seal the game against a struggling Mick. 1-3 ;)
Paul Phillips 1,910 - 2,720 Pete Edwards Paul & Pete both had their share of chances with Pete making slightly more of his. 1-4 ;)
Enjoyable evening, table was lovely around the break, split & 50 holes but a bit trickier towards the back...... with some nice sarnies and wedges to follow. 8-)

Good result BBW congrats on the 10K should see you head the top 10. While you were winning The Dun Horse were busy loosing so Handcross close the gap slightly
Crawley Club 4 Dun Horse 1
Peter Fisher 6260 John Lear 2270 Dave Evans 3940 Iang 2230 Steve King 5160 Sparky 3400 Les Jones 4640 Ros Appleby 1060 Derek Jessup 2070 Paul Jobbins 5890
we should have done more on this lovely top but CC are a hard team to beat on their own table. John didn't have much chance as Peter made his 5K break I swooped scores with Dave Evans as he left the one up short & let me in & then I under hit a 100/30 on around 1K he then got them back again & made sure Steve & Sparkys game probably best of night Thanks to Ros for standing in for Sir Jock. Paul saved our pride & again made top dog against CC's reserve Derek Jessup.

Good result BBW congrats on the 10K should see you head the top 10. Thanks Ian, I really enjoyed the evening and the break & split were going really easily.... I was tempted to have a go at running the table out but decided (as a guest!) that probably wasn't the "right thing" to do.... especially as I had only given Ding 1 shot when we played Interleague at Hurst Club last year....... so I left a couple of balls short of the 50 hole and came off. ;) About an hour later, looking through Marion's terrific folder, I found out that I had only been about 1k short of the highest away break in Horsham this season....... ::) :'(
