As you are now entering a ladies team in the 1 day comp an amount of £20 is outstanding. Could you please bring this along with you sometime over the weekend.
Thanks Jean

Final game West Sussex 2,5 points ahead against Horsham for the decider. Horsham won and took the title, good luck in Div 1 next season to Horsham

I seem to recall that West Sussex ran Tunbridge Wells very close in the same event last year. So well done again to your team, and maybe it will be third time lucky next year. :D

Great to see everyone from West Sussex up at Roffey yesterday...... some terrific performances with no less than 6 players in the Top 15! :o
Young Martin Cole finished 8th win 4 wins out of 5 and an average of 5,458. 8-) The slightly older ;) Alan Shaw was 10th with 3 wins and an average of 5804, followed closely by Keith Turner (12th), Gary Evans (13th), Mick Freeman (14th with 3 wins out of 3) and Gilbert White in 15th. ;D ;D ;D
Despite those performances, yet again the bridesmaids, this time just below Horsham who won the important last game, although I suspect that BFG's comment may have some truth in it...... and Division 2 will be delighted to see you return next year to enjoy your company again. 8-)
Goodness only knows what the Ladies Interleague One Day will be like....... will definitely have to go up to Roffey for that one!! :o ;D ;D ;D
Hopefully, one day you will enter a team into the Home & Away Interleague competition so that we can see you more often..... ??? ;D

Thanks for the kind words warrior! I am assured the team all had a great time! :) Judging by the state of nipper when he got in I am sure thats true :o
And I can assure you my tongue was very firmly in my cheek when I put that comment on!! ;D
Looking forward to next year I will have to try to get in the team ::)
We did used to have a home and away team but the travelling got a bit much for them, we are currently trying to build a new team

Me thinks our cunning plan has been found out. I think the bookies would have been a bit suspicious after we had won 5-2, 5-2, 6-1, 5-2 then managing to lose 6-1 in the last game to secure our division 2 status.
Seriously though, I think we were very unfortunate. If only Mick Freeman could have played every game and kept up his 100% record. If only my last game had not lasted just 16 minutes when I was on course to win. If only Keith Turner had not been up against a Horsham player ON HIS HOME TABLE. If only we had not tried to empty the IPA barrel. Oh well div 2 again next season.
Well done to my team especially Martin Cole (man of the match) I'm expecting good things from Martin at our knockout weekend later this season based on this performance.
Thanks to Jean for a well organised day yet again. Look forward to seeiing you all next season.
