Well on Tuesday I cam close to running a table out at the Vikings despite my opponent thinking I was just playing slow.
The fact was he gave me no time on the table in the first and I was determined to return the favour in the second. He scored 16K + 2 8K + breaks in the first to my 200 ish
In the second I scored 7K+ to his 100ish
I couldn't figure the split shot out as it kept missing the 100 or the pockets at the bottom on just about every one but despite this I kept getting the break back and kept going and I must say I was delighted with how I just kept on scoring depsite the balls being all over the place as usually I miss very quick when this happens.
The fact of the matter is if I take my time I can score 7K plus breaks but it takes me in excess of 12 minutes (absolutely no good if my opponent goes in with 5 or more) to do so and more if I can't figure the split of break out as I only play once a week. If I try and go quick I miss its that simpe so a steady pace is my best chance of getting a decent score.
Some may consider it so play but at the end of the day this game is about scoring points in one go and I can't do at pace so its not worth even trying.

That was by far and away the best you have ever played. At the end of the day, yes you were slow, but you were all over the table. I bet that if you added up the number of shots you actually played and converted that into a conventional 3times, 1-up and split, i bet that 7k would have been closer to 10k.
