Winterton Arms B 3-3 Loci C Swain 2000--1310 D Hampton G Fogden 1240--1350 E Hampton M Cole 3960--5010 S Beach B Bailey 1350--1730 R Parsons G F & M C 3280--1250 D & E Hampton B B & C S 1480--0260 S B & R P Have to say this is a fair result really as all of the games could have gone either way:- Game 1:- Christian came out of retirement & kicked off well with about 650, Dave gradually clawed his way back & took the lead briefly until Mr Swain got the break back & made it safe.
Game 2:- Another nip & tuck game with Eric just shading it.
Game 3:- Undoubtedly the game of the night with the two captains going hell for leather, Nipper opened with about 1500, I got the break back but didn't do too much with it, Martin came back with another 2000ish, then i got the break again & scored just short of 4k, Nipper tried hard to hit back but it wasn't to be.
Game 4:- Another see/saw game saw Bob just about deserve his win.
Game 5:- Martin dominated proceedings against the Hampton twins
Game 6:- Christain started well again, then I got the break back & put in nearly 2k before rolling up, we loaded the table between us then enter Bob Parsons "Who put that black peg there?" Oh dear! That was that apart from a rather lovely sweet & sour :P & a very good night was had by all. 8-)
