I'll kick this off with some predictions this week since I have a bit of time on my hands for a change:
Plough vs Droops
Tough top but I think the Droops are strong enough for a 3-2 away win here.
CKRBL vs Hurst B
Another currently tough top although Bravo showed it can be played last week. Again I would say a 3-2 away win here.
Bravos vs Eight Bells
This depends largely on whether the warrior is playing. If so, 3-2 home win, if not 4-1 home win.
Hurst A vs St Francis
With a full squad and a good draw, Hurst A could win 4-1 here. Minus super subs I will still go for a 3-2 Hurst A victory.
Laughing Fish vs Watermill B
I can't really go for anything but a 4-1 home win here, and I haven't hit a big score for well over a month now so I'm really determined to get one this week (10k+ for me hopefully - I have just doomed any chances I had to hit one now!)
Handcross Z vs Royals
I really struggle to see any other result than a 5-0 home victory here - the Zeds are a strong side and with the newly revitalised table they should have no problem!
Greyhound vs White Horse
I would say a 4-1 win to the Greyhound here
Watermill A vs HHUSC
Fresh from beating the Greyhound last week, the USC boys will be in good spirits, but I can't see them beating the A's at home. 3-2 home win.

No more League matches in Mid-Sussex for the Warrior this season H........ :-X :-X :-X Expecting more than 10k from you though...... a big score at the Fish is long overdue...... and just 1 more win and POY is definitely yours! 8-) ;D

Tommo first reserve for the Zeds this week.....will probably stand down in Team Knockout Final too. Spoilt for choice - a happy situation for the Captain to be in! ;)

Ok, time to dust off my crystal ball and have a look at these......
Plough vs Droops I have to agree with H on this and go for a 3-2 away win for the Droops here. ::)
CKRBL vs Hurst B I wouldn't agree with H that the table is that tough..... nor with the result! 3-2 home win for the Kleiners in some close matches, with Jenny to beat IanG! ;)
Bravos vs Eight Bells Bravos have definitely hit some form lately and like their home top...... a 4-1 home win which will see the Bells relegated with Lady Ros the only away winner. ;)
Hurst A vs St Francis This could be a close game, hopefully Bobhall will have a full team in which case I will also go for a 3-2 home win.
Laughing Fish vs Watermill B Hmmmmm...... could overconfidence from the home skipper catch the Kippers out....... :-/ ...... No, I don't think so, but I will go for a 3-2 home win with H hitting 7k+........ but losing nearly as many!! :P ;D
Handcross Z vs Royals Although the Royals are much improved in recent weeks, I can't disagree with H's prediction...... it was about this stage in the first half of the season that the Zeds machine kicked into gear with their run of whitewashes and I think that a 5-0 home win is on the cards, even with Tommo resting....! ;)
Greyhound vs White Horse The Hornless Unicorn have been something of a bogey team for the Greyhound in recent years..... but I still think a 3-2 home win is likely. ;)
Watermill A vs HHUSC I think that H has got this spot on with a 3-2 home win here. ;D

We failed to make the most of Greyhound loosing last week so will need to work hard.

And so to week 28............. Have not looked at the other predictions for this week so any duplications are purely coincidental...........
Plough v Droops Plough have just won three in a row and their rearguard action could continue here: 3-2 home win. CKRBL v Hurst B This will be an almighty struggle and a lot will depend on the draw. With the table easier on the break recently the Hurst could manage a 3-2. Bravos v Eight Bells Eight Bells have lost their last three and also lost a Warrior! Can't see any comfort apart from in a damage limitation exercise: 4-1 to Bravos. Hurst A v St Francis Saints are also on a roll and the last four weeks have cost the SpecialOne a fortune in phonecalls and stamps. This time though they will have their bottoms spanked by the Hurst A. 4-1 methinks. Laughing Fish v Watermill B Big win here for the Fish (4-1 or 5-0) Handcross Z v Royals Well, I'm not playing so we could do better than normal ! 4-1 to the Zeds with some good scores, but Lynn Storr to win for Royals. Greyhound v White Horse 4-1 or 5-0 to the Greyhound: Uncle Max could grab a frame for the Unicorn if the break is not too unkind. Watermill A v H/H USC The First Division leaders have stuttered recently, losing three in a row. But the juggernaut will get back into gear with a big (5-0 or 4-1) win.

I'll have a go this week
Plough vs Droops 2½ each draw, Mark Webber to hit the form that we used to see and make 6k (addendum: Jock to suffer an allergic reation to Parsons pickled onions, being stunned to find the only cure is a shot of Jack Daniels at 10 minute intervals) ;D
CKRBL vs Hurst B Kleiners to win 3-2 (sorry Ian) Ian G to win with 4k, Steve King to hit 10k
Bravos vs Eight Bells 4-1 to the Bravos, XPTG to make 8k, Ros the only winner for the Nomads hitting 3k
Hurst A vs St Francis What team has Bob got this week?? 3-2 to the 'A's Special One to hit VERY big (around 12k) and Bobhall to get his 10k
Laughing Fish vs Watermill B Its sometimes harder to beat a weaker team (no offence to the 'B's and I think this could be the leagues biggest upset 2-3 being the score, H will be trying to hard to hit big and black peg, losing the deciding game
Handcross Z vs Royals Lynns hungry to get her ladies highest break back and will score 7k on a top that will play exceptionally well, 'Z' will still win, but only 3-2
Greyhound vs White Horse 5-0 to the hounds, with Ian Powell threatening to retire from bar billiards (again) ;D ;D
Watermill A vs HHUSC Upset for the 'A's losing 2-3, Graham continuing his fine form of late and hitting 12k in a week that sees more 10k+ breaks than any other this season
If they all come true I'm going to do a lucky dip on the Lotto ;D

I'll have a go this week Plough vs Droops2½ each draw, Interesting predictions, Q, not least the above. You realise that a tied match carries odds of around 100-1 ? So if that one comes off, I think I'll award you 50 bonus points. ;)

Many thanks to the Hurst for the fantastic support they gave me in the friendly. I was playing a large bloke, who was doing a funny dance. I was over 4k behind, but with their help and encouragement, I just got there. Regards TSO

Girliefosters has failed late fitness test. Roger Wallbank moves up from the youth achadamy and makes debut. TSO I do hope that the threat of corporal punishment did not deter ManlyHarveys (who seems to have returned to his favourite 'amber nectar' tipple) from turning up. ;) I wish him well and to recover fully in time for the 13th May, when I shall try to remember to slip him a swift half of 'girlie' Fosters ! ;D

Ok, time to dust off my crystal ball and have a look at these...... Plough vs DroopsI have to agree with H on this and go for a 3-2 away win for the Droops here. ::) A 5-0 home win for the Plough proved us both very wrong.....! :o CKRBL vs Hurst BI wouldn't agree with H that the table is that tough..... nor with the result! 3-2 home win for the Kleiners in some close matches, with Jenny to beat IanG! ;) Hurst B overcame the table and won 3-2..... so no points for me so far...... :'( .....awaiting the individual scores to see if Jenny gave me a bonus point! ;) Bravos vs Eight BellsBravos have definitely hit some form lately and like their home top...... a 4-1 home win which will see the Bells relegated with Lady Ros the only away winner. ;) Home win - correct! ;) Scoreline wrong! ::) No individual scores available yet. Hurst A vs St FrancisThis could be a close game, hopefully Bobhall will have a full team in which case I will also go for a 3-2 home win. Bobhall did have a full team.... sadly, Saints were 1 short and it was a close 3-2 home win! ;D Laughing Fish vs Watermill BHmmmmm...... could overconfidence from the home skipper catch the Kippers out....... :-/ ...... No, I don't think so, but I will go for a 3-2 home win with H hitting 7k+........ but losing nearly as many!! :P ;D H's confidence was well proven with a convincing 5-0 win..... 1 point for the home win ;), nothing for wrong scoreline :-[, maybe a bonus for H hitting 8k ???, but maybe a deduction because he didn't admit to losing any in his report! :o Handcross Z vs RoyalsAlthough the Royals are much improved in recent weeks, I can't disagree with H's prediction...... it was about this stage in the first half of the season that the Zeds machine kicked into gear with their run of whitewashes and I think that a 5-0 home win is on the cards, even with Tommo resting....! ;) Correct result & scoreline..... ;D Greyhound vs White HorseThe Hornless Unicorn have been something of a bogey team for the Greyhound in recent years..... but I still think a 3-2 home win is likely. ;) Correct result & scoreline..... ;D 8-) Watermill A vs HHUSCI think that H has got this spot on with a 3-2 home win here. ;D Correct result..... but 4-1 win for the A Team champions! More right than wrong this week..... even if I did slip up on a couple of banana skins! ;D

Thanks Paul, ok I'm in a position now to review the outstanding bonuses. BBW and Q each have a point to go on.
Bravos v Eight Bells BBW said Ros would win and Q said she would win with 3k. She lost, but scored 2990. Q therefore gets 0.5 bonus for a near miss on the score. Q missed the mark with a prediction of 8k for XPTG: his score was 2760 so nothing for that.
CKRBL v Hurst B BBW predicted a win for Jenny and a loss for Ian. Jenny didn't play but Ian lost to Dilly so 1pt to BBW for that one. Q predicted a win for Ian with 4k and also a win for Steve King with a score of 10k. As we know, nothing for the first one but Steve though not managing a win was on the other end of a 10k (from Derek Taylor) - so 0.5pt to Q for that. ;D
Points have been consolidated into the table on previous page.
