Mill House Z 5, Hurst A 0
G. Daniels (370) 9080, The Old Fella (740) 2130 MrMike007 (370) 3930, Lady H (740) 2580 Barry & Alan (370) 3470, Roy & Jenny (740) 2690 The Two Johnnies (1110) 3280, PapaHall & Lady H (370) 2570 tommo (370) 5430, Boball (370) 2530
A nice 7k break from Graham in the first frame, but everyone else seemed to struggle with awkward leaves (British Rail excuse ? ;D) and the result flatters, as the visitors had no luck at all.
A good evening nonetheless spent in pleasant company. 8-)

Manley Harveys retained captain's armband, and recorded consecutive wins as skipper, and will skipper at the Woolpack next week. Lazer eyes had unlucky black peg in the decieder, TSO was rusty, but got the hang of it late on. Good night all. The most I have drunk for months, not sure if there is another full season left in me. TSO.

And here is the full report:
H(0) 7620 vs 1850 (380) Adam Bateup
Well I opened with 2k and decided to peg it, but adam was very kind to let me back on for 6.5k which I kept this time! A few medium breaks and lucky shots on my part and we arrived at the final scores.
Andy Brooks (760) 4510 vs 2870 (1140) Paul M-R
Following my example the old man pegged his near 3k opener. He was the next to get the break back with a very lucky red down the 200 hole and put in 2k. Paul replied with 1k, but the old man back in with a further 1.5k.
Andy Brooks+Chris Ashford (760) 1890 vs 4300 (1520) Lynne M-R+Nikki Hinkins
This was a nice game to watch, with the ladies quite simply outplaying our guys and knocking in more points than they did! Well played ladies
H+BB Warrior (0) 5680 vs 3690 (380) Spud+Adam
Dave opened with 2k, Adam replied with 2.9k. Spud and I decided to let the two of them do the work, with a further 2k from Dave to pip it for us.
BB Warrior (0) 3330 vs 2730 (1140) Spud
Dave was very unlucky to peg his 5k opener. Spud then knocked in a solid 1.4k, which dave replied to and added a few smaller breaks to just about take it.
Thanks to the Brewers for the second decent night down there this week!

Thanks to the Brewers for the second decent night down there this week! I didn't peg it H........ I simply missed a ball parked behind the 30 hole! ::) And just to prove (to myself) that I had played the right shot the first time, I took the same shot on the next time I went to the table and...... completely missed it again!! :o :-[ Some people just don't learn do they..... :o ;D I would agree 100% about 2 very enjoyable evenings at the Brewers! Many thanks to Mike, his staff and both of the teams that we played. ;)

This afternoon, we were advised by the landlord of the White Horse in Ditchling that his bar billiards team had withdrawn from the Mid-Sussex Bar Billiards League. The results of the Charity Cup matches already played will be expunged, those teams affected are The Laughing Fish, HHUSC and Plough LB As far as the league program is concerned, it will remain as is except that each team will now have 6 byes per season instead of 4. Following the above announcement, here's a revised Pool 2 table: Team P W L F A Pts Mill House Z 2 2 0 9 1 9 Laughing Fish 2 2 0 8 2 8 Bravos 3 1 2 7 8 7 H/H USC 2 1 1 5 5 5 Plough (P/G) 2 1 1 5 5 5 Hurst B 3 1 2 5 10 5 Hurst A 2 1 1 3 7 3 Plough (L/B) 2 0 2 3 7 3
