Team KO semi-final at the 3 Pigeons
Tandem B 4-2 Red Lion (Cassington)
Ben Scott 4080 - 610 Andy Wilson Mark Trafford 260 - 16,110 Jon Bamsey Keith Hollis 1340 - 5650 Colin Winstone Ben 6490 - 1320 Andy Mark 5960 - 4550 Jon Keith 5010 - 1930 Colin
We won, but it was definitely not deserved. Andy lost a 4k break in the first game to hand the game to Ben. Jon played brilliantly in the 2nd, touching up on 12k. Colin played steady, but never loked comfortable on the break, Keith just didn't have a clue ! Ben then played a very good game to beat Andy again. My game against on was a scrappy affair with neither of us taking the numerous chances we both had, until i got a 3k break at the end. Keith then concentrated for once and played well to beat Colin in the last game.
Anyone know who won the other semi-final a couple of weeks ago ? I think it was Royal Oak A v Bletchingdon A ?

Didn't have a clue bit harsh, let my frustrations get the better of me in the first after my opening effort on the break.
I was focused and up for it in the last match though knowing a win meant the final and I delivered it. Its funny how I come out first for the majority of league matches yet nearly always come out last in the TKO with the score at 3-2 lucky omen maybe....

a couple of comments to the Three Pigeons team.
1. It was a nice surprise when the landlord came out with some sandwiches and a bowl of chips at the end of the match which was quite unexpected but most gratefully accepted. If the team asked him to do this thanks we did thank him last night for the food
2. Table should be renamed "RIGHT TURN CLYDE" where clyde is any ball hit towards the right hand corner of the table. What a roll accross the back of the cushion you couldn't miss the 20 or 30 hole that side when splitting from the left - nice home advantage I expect.

- nice home advantage I expect. Maybe this is why they moan about every other away table because it doesn't play like their "wonderful" table..... ??
