Jock v's Bravo part 2
Having just lost 2-1 in the Open singles at The Watermill, we vacated sharply and headed for the United Services to engage again.
This time however the outcome was an entirely different matter.
Adam won the toss and promptly put me on first and was promptly of at around my 1st one up, short as usual!!! We faffed around for a bit then urs truly finally woke up and started to play a little, touching up around the 8000+ mark. 1-0 To me.
Onto the second and Adams break, going well with 2000+ when he broke down, and I promptly took full advantage slipping in another 6500+ and came off as mine back was giving me all manner of grief. Adam came back on and didn't do anything, I got the break back again and slipped in another 3k+ standing virtually straight up. So 2-0 to me and just a shade under 10k in both legs.
Massive thanks to Spudgun whom scored all the matches on the night for us!!! Massive thanks to Sparky for the table, which in my humble opinion is set up beautifully!!
Bad luck Adam, but all the very best of luck in the next round of the Open Singles young padawan!!!
