TSO returns after rib problem. Bob Ellis expected to be fit after injured back. Foggers will play through the pain if needed. Only doubt is Mat, who may have retired from home games. Selection headache. TSO

Thrills and spills at our match too................
Laughing Fish 2, Mill House Z 3
Les Whiteman BP, Johnny T 2040. 0-1 (John nice and steady throughout) Andy Brooks 1680, SuperG 3470. 0-2 (SuperG a good break early on and the luck didn't run with Andy) The 'H'itman 9950, tommo 690. 1-2 (tommo left first split short and had several other goes at the break as H kept losing scores. But a completely inept performance let H in to finish with a commanding break of 8k) Jim Ashford 4040. MrMike007 3940. 2-2 A thriller this one. First Mick led by a thousand and then Jim. Mick pulled right back at the end but could only level. Jim potted the last two balls in 10 and 20 to win. Ray Carpenter 1560, Barry Timson 1810. 2-3 Barry spilled a patient opening break of 2k and then it became gripping as with half the game gone both players stood at 300. Barry then played some good shots to get in front, but Ray rallied and played out a break of 690 which was a couple of hundred short.
Henry slightly apologetic about the table, but apart from a couple of quirks, it's all there and there are far worse around ! Different from last year (new cloth and cushions) and H plays the split from way back as opposed to last year's close to the 50 pocket. Deja vue for me, but good to watch nonetheless. But as last year again, my players obviously felt sorry for me and gave that 10% extra effort. ;) The evening rounded off by an excellent pasta bake with melted cheese. 8-)

Hurst B 4 Plough LB 1 Scores later as I dont have them yet been away again. This is what the Old Fella had to say about the match: "A good home win for Hurst B has moved them clear of the drop zone with plenty of points over Plough LB. A 5K from Paul Jobbins put Hurst on their way, and a Chris Kirkham win over Des Gasson made it 2. Steve King defeated Mark Potter to give Hurst the match before Geoff Parsons hit his own 5K to grab a point for the Plough over Dazza. The final leg for Hurst thanks to a King Lear win over Malc Fuller".

Missing reports plus Latest table from the OldFella :
Watermill A 3, Hurst A 2 The A Teams home win over Hurst A puts them on top. Chris Nikolaj took the first from Jenny Edwards but The Old Fella won the second from Rodney Storr to bring it level. Big Norm won a close leg against Lady H to put the home side in front and a dazzling 8200 from Kim Stenning won the match. A late point for Hurst as Papa Hall won over John Staplehurst.
Eight Bells 5, Watermill B 0 A whitewash for the Bells over The Bees keeps them in 4th place. Posh Bob put in another winning effort to beat Mark Ridley and Nick Brown hit the week’s best with 11500 to defeat Paul Blackburn. Sir Trevor had a more modest win over Gavin Boyd and Lady Ros just missed her 5K to take frame 4 from The Flying Dutchman. New boy Lee Bulmer put in a good performance and was only narrowly beaten by Tony Driver.
Woolpack 1, Brewers Droops 4 Droops don’t move anywhere this week despite an away win at the Woolpack. Jock put Droops into an early lead with a win over Alex Slack. Lyn Storr took the second leg from Noddy Humphrey to level the score, but that was Woolpack’s lot as Stephen Costa beat Anne Stockinger in frame 3, The Farmer took leg 4 from Jan Hinkins, and Allan Humphrey won out over Jim Blake to take the last.
