Will look at things tomoz, but can't see either team getting to Lower Beading safely. 2 inches have settled already, and it is still coming down, no sight of a gritter round here. Think this one will be worse than the one before xmas. TSO

HURSRT B:3 BREWERS BRAVOS:2 The search for a win in knockout competition extends to a fourth year for the Bravos...
John:2290 Lynne:810 Lynne must have sworn at the gods of Billiards before her match as nothing would drop for her at all. John took advantage to open up his sides account.
Chris:580 Bravo:6700 Dark mutterings about the table were swiftly crushed after this performance from Bravo. After a slow start, Bravo got the hang of things and pushed in 2.5k and 3k breaks to take the frame off an unlucky Chris.
Ian:1390 Nikki:1490 A good back-board dog-fight this one that went to the last red ball, Nikki sinking it at the third attempt. Unlucky Mr. Giffen.
Darrell:3160 Spud:1280 Once i had cocked up my second attempt at the break i was easy meat for Darrell who simply outplayed me for most of the frame.
Steve:2200 Paul:1890 A desperatley close affair but Paul was always playing catch-up and Steve sunk the last balls to give him no chance.
Always a good evening with the Hurst guys and some nice, close frames as well. Cheers all.

Unlucky Bravos thanks for a good match. Well done Nikki who brought so many balls back from the back into the 100 hole.
After the first game we realised that the table had 8 white balls ::) ::) ::) no wonder the special one spends so much time getting the break back ;D ;D We removed the extra ball for the rest of the match & put it back at the end of the night.

HH USC 3 - 2 St Francis @ The Plough, Lower Beeding.
Ron Wales 2460 - 0 Chris Little Ron played a really good game and deserved the victory, Chris had Black Peg on last ball but couldn't win.
GrahamS 2600 - 670 Roger Wallbank Roger didn't threaten while Sparky couldn't really settle.
Mick Kirwan 1410 - 1170 Bob Ellis Mick won this game, and the match, but couldn't relax as Bob threatened to take charge several times.
Terry Gasson 1690 - 5630 Shaun Morris Terry had the break but Shaun showed everyone what a good player he is AND how to play the table......brilliant 3k break SpecialOne.
Bill Boyce 1030 - 1430 Pete Geal Greenhorn Bill was beaten by the 41 years experience of Pete but it could have been either.
Special thanks to Mark for some great food.
