I'll leave the theories open for discussion. Although I Bobhall and I are yet to rearrange the outstanding game. Hopefully will get played over the christmas break at some point.

With Bob Ellis in New Zealand Saints should be unchanged. Foggers, after aqupuncture treatment today, stands by if needed. Traveling should be awful tonight, so go careful and be safe all. TSO

Trouble at 'Mill.............
Mill House Z 5, Watermill A 0
Alan Downs 5490, Norman Cragg 880 Graham Daniels 2900, RodneyStorr 1930 tommo 3040, Chris Nikolaj 2440 Barry Timson 7510, Kim Stenning 2210 Mick Holmwood 4860, John Staplehurst 1790
A couple of these frames were closer than the scores suggest, and the Watermill didn't really have a slice of luck the whole evening.
Norman had a real 'mare, with seven consecutive barren visits; Rod and Chris's games were both close, Chris pegging towards the end to let tommo in........
Barry started with a superb 6k break and touch-up, and Mick built an early lead to take the pressure off himself.
The Mill from World's End took this freak result sportingly, and we would like to wish them better luck in the new year when no doubt they will exact revenge as usual in the return fixture !

Strange night at the Palace of Droops :-/
Brewers Droops 4 - 1 HH USC
Jock 650, Sparky 3870 Jock decided to let his old mate off the hook as he spilled loads, especially a 3K+ break, even 4 timed :o :o
Noddy 1720, Mick K 1060 Dour game with neither looking happy :(
The Farmer 11,730, Terry G nil. Terry very unusually completely missed his first break, Andy then made a great 6k4 break, Terry couldn't pot what was left, Andy played the table out for another 5k+ and a brilliant display of how to play that top when no one else did :) :) :)
Stephen Costa 870, Bill Boyce nil. Bill threw it away, when leading, with a Black peg near the end :-[
Allan Humphrey 1600, Ron Wales nil. This time the nil score was because Ron had to go for a Red in the 200 last shot to win and after numerous goes he hit the Black peg ;)
Thanks to Mike at the Brewers for the 'Spicy' Pizza & chips (Yum)

Watermill b 2 Saints 3 Mark Ridley 350 TSO 8750 TSO found some fluency for a change. Having been told Mark was unwell and had to go early, TSO rediscovered the bully within.
Paul Blackman 3350 Manley Harveys 1320 Good win from Paul, MH never got the break back
Paddy Bryan BP Mat Geal 4270 Mat threatened a big one early on, then lost the plot. Still a good win
TFD 3020 Peter Geal 1450 Good Win for TFD Peter never got the break back
Gavin Boyd 1130 Roger Wallbank 1400 2-2 and all eyes and hopes on Saints youth academy. Roger got his nose in front and would not give up the lead. Gritty but glorious.
Enjoy xmas break, back to bedders to watch England play Boks TSO

EIGHT BELLS:2 BREWERS BRAVOS:3
"POSH" BOB:820 PAUL:5960 Paul played well and constructed a few 1 and 2k breaks to amass his score. Bob had a couple of goes on break but suffered an unfortunate 4 break to let Paul back in. NICK BROWN:10440 NIKKI:1030 Nick played very well and put on three medium sized breaks to reach his 10k. Nikki felt a bit like a sacrificial lamb but was pleased to reach 1k after not having much of the table. ROS:3120 SPUD:3250 I knew this would be a tough match and so it proved. Ros black pegged when on 400 early on but i could not take advantage despite another go on break. Ros came back with an excellent 2.5k break but with time ticking i cleared the backboard for a 1.5k break just as the bar went. Ros made a great effort to catch up but was left 230 behind with the last ball. Good game. TONY:960 BRAVO:6760 It looked like Bravo was going to score huge but broke down on medium breaks just as we thought he was beginning to get going. Still, the skip made sure of the win in good fashion, Tony not having much luck on the table. TREVOR:3360 LYNNE:1910 A game that was nip-and-tuck in the first half but Trevor got on break to ease himself ahead slowly but surely and gained a good consolation point for his side.
Thanks to the Eight Bells for a good evening of Billiards, the table playing very nicely indeed. Some good food as well (spuds and tasy burgers). Merry Christmas
