All matches shall be played on neutral tables and shall be the best of 3 games. The first break shall be decided by the toss of a coin. Even breaks shall be played in the event of a third game, the first break to be decided by a toss of a coin. In the event of a third game the second player shall be entitled to insert additional coins to allow his or her first break to continue without time limit to equal or exceed the first player’s score. Should the third game be tied, a fourth game shall be played with the rules as for the third.

In the Sussex County Bar Billiards Association Rules, it states that if players found playing on a table that they have been drawn to play on other than in a match organised by his/her League will be eliminated from the competition and the match awarded to his/her opponent. (rule 42).
