Wellie B 2 - 3 Westhill
No scores to hand. I left the score card under the till at the Wellie.
1. I played Geoff in the first game. We both struggled to play the game at times. I won by about 2k. 1-0 2. Nick played Chris next. Tupps didn't seem to get to grips with the game at all. 2-0 3. Garry and Kev played a close game until the end. With the scores on the board showing Garry about 300 behind, he got a break going. All was going swimmingly when he had scored about 2.5k in his break, he played the break to hard, the right hand white ball spun out and took the white peg out. The bar had already dropped so Kev just had to clear up for the win. 2-1 4. Mark started with 660, Mick lost a break of around 1.5k. Mark then scored 600 and Mick scored 6k. Enough said. 2-2 5. Tim had got a lead of about 5k, Colin had a break which left Tim needing 2.5k to win. He had scored most of what he needed when he had to play the one up. It was at this point he got a text message asking him about some DVD's. With the one up short colin aent on to win the game and match. 2-3
A good night that was so nearly our third win of the season. Well done to Colin and his team.

Windmill v Schooner
A strange night at the Windmill, with what was always going to be a difficult match for the Schooner having to give all 5 breaks to Windmill.
Gina Sherratt missed her first split and off at 450, Rick Cunningham break back but missed one upo behind. A few efforts each before Gina got them back to make sure. 7230 - 2280 1-0
Mal Spier pegs opening 6k and Gives Bill Kerr break back but he is off at 500. Bill gets break back twice more but struggles. Mal gets it back and makes sure 4700 - 2380 2-0
Dave France misses first split off at 450, Dave Ingram gets them back but also misses split, Dave France made sure with two good breaks. 13740 - 1330 3-0
Charlie Cooper opens with 4.5k. Tony Jenner replies with 4k but misses split ( sounds familiar ), Charlie then had a peg fest but TJ could not take advantage, Charlie makes sure 8650 - 4690 4-0
Edge Butler and Dave Anscombe both had their chances edge break twice and Dave three times 3350 -2890 5-0
Well played Windmill who I believe with the Albions loss have won the first Division.
