BREWERS BRAVOS:3 ST.FRANCIS:2
Nikki:3070 TSO:4680 Nikki had Shaun on the run early with this performance, a new p/b. TSO was not to be denied and put on a late frame winning 3k break. One could say he was studious. Maybe even scholarly. All academic really. Good win from Shaun and an excellent performance from Nikki,
Bravo:5470 Peter:1600 Bravo opened up with a hard working 2.5k and then had a good tussle with Peter with both players grappling with the table. Bravo eventually managed to finish off with a small break at the end.
Paul:2530 Chris:1160 Neither seemed to enjoy the top last night but Paul settled down quicker and put on enough for a good win. Chris was unlucky to peg a mid-game 1.5k break that could have made the difference.
Spud:7570 Matt:2440 I opened up with 4.5k and then struggled to score. Matt came right back at me with a 2k break but after a lengthy back-board skirmish i got them back to finish it off with another 2.5k
Lynne:1410 Bob:2150 Lynne looked comfortable early on but was outdone by Bobs decent mid-game break of 1.5k, who played well for his sides consolation point.
All in all, a decent night of billiards and thanks to the St. Francis guys for a good evening in good company.

Greyhound 3, Watermill A 2.
Report from Roy added:
The A Team failed to make much of an inroad into the Mill House lead with a defeat away at the Greyhound. Pail Goodwin saw off Big Norm in the first to give Hound the lead which was quickly clawed back by Rodney Storr with a win over Trevor Rees. The A Team went ahead when Chris Nikolaj beat Peter Burchell but all things were even when Geoff Fairs put out John Staplehurst. Win bonus for the Hound though as Neil Burchell won the decider against Kim Stenning.

Laughing Fish 3 - 2 Hurst A
Off to work so no time to post scores, but good night with the guys
This report from Roy added:
Hurst A stay at the bottom of the division following an unproductive visit to Isfield. Lady H won the first with some dogged play against Ray Carpenter. Another poor performance from The Old Fella who was demolished by a big hit from Andy Brooks. Bobhall started well against Aitch who took his time to warm up but finished with a 9K score to take the lead. A 2k break from Les Whiteman was enough to keep him in front of Mama Hall and the Fish had the match won. Despite Papa Hall pegging a 2K break, he kept his composure and took the last leg from Chris Ashford.

Plough PG won 4 - 1 at Eight Bells
This report from Roy added:
Plough PG move to the top of division 1 with a convincing win over the 8 Bells. Darren Newnham took the first from Posh Bob, and the second went to Chase Newman with a win over Tony Driver. A ladies match ensued where Jan Bithell came out the victor over home team skipper Lady Ros. The Bells star briefly shone as Nick Brown hit a massive 14330 past a luckless Ron Sheridan to claim Bells only point. Dave Knight made it 4 for the visitors, taking the last leg from Sir Trevor.
