This report comes courtesy of the OldFella:
Greyhound 2, Plough L/B 3 Plough LB keep up the pressure on Zeds with an away win at the Greyhound. A great opening frame finished with Keith Potter on 4K9 and Trevor Rees on 5K5 to put Hounds into an early lead. A lower scoring leg for Mark Webber but a win over Peter Burchell brought the teams level. A good win for Geoff Parsons putting Paul Goodwin in the shade gave the lead to the visitors and a Mark Potter win in the next at the expense of Geoff Fairs saw match won for Plough. Neil Burchell added a second for Hounds to keep them a couple of points above the drop zone.

BREWERS BRAVOS:2 BREWERS DROOPS:3
BRAVO:11700 ANDY:3790 Andy led off with the score above but Bravo retaliated with a just under 7 and, when Andy missed his next shot, he stepped up to to play the table out for the rest. Great stuff from the skip. PAUL:2460 LIAM "WEE MAN" CHURCHER:3340 Paul struggled with the break and liam pounced to score a 1k7. Paul fought back but it was Liam on the break when the bar went to make sure of the equaliser. SPUD:6400 COSTA:1530 After Costa missed his opener i put on a couple of early 2k+ breaks. The balls fell awkwardly after that and the rest of the frame was about even up the back. LYNNE:1690 JOCK:6880 jock continued to struggle with his shoulder and Lynne harried him most of the way, keeping in touching distance. Jock eventually got back on break and played it out with a steady 4k to take it to the decider. NIKKI:1690 COLIN:2590 This was spent entirely at the back, but Colin kept his nose ahead all frame and left Nikki too much to do at the end.
As always, an entertaining evening on derby night, the Droops getting one back on us from last time we met in fine style. Leaves the Bravos with a tricky run-in so all to play for in the final 2 weeks.
Cheers all.

Heard that CKRBL beat Hurst 'A' 3-2 Last ball of the last game between the Two Petes
This report added by TheOldFella:
Kleiners won at home to Hurst A but may have blown their chance to finish in the medals this season. The Old Fella won his last game of the seasons campaign , beating Shaky Coles and putting Hurst 1 up. A good scrap in the next with Derek Taylor bouncing his cue off the table cover in frustration but he eked out a win over Jenny Edwards to level it. The best score of match from Dilly to take frame 3 from Bobhall but Hurst’s Lady H comfortably beat Ted Stringer to force the decider. Another good tussle in the last with Peter Edwards edging out Papa Hall for a Kleiners win.

Greyhound and Watermill A have both won 6 games, Hurst A have only won 5. :P

And the 'missing' report threw up a surprise (this courtesy of TheOldFella):
Woolpack 3, Watermill B 2 Woolpack grab their second match win and get themselves off the bottom of the table for the first time. Lyn Storr took a good frame from Gavin Boyd but a Mark Ridley beating of Mike Weber kept thing level. A tight third frame saw Jan Hinkins get round newbie Gavin Offord but an Anne Stockinger defeat at the hands of Paul Blackburn called for a decider. Into the fray went Jim Blake and The Flying Dutchman and victory for Jim gave a match win to the Woolies.
Confirmation of the outstanding fixture ruling:
"At a meeting held on Thursday last, the committee decided that the outstanding league match of 4 November between the Hurst A and the Laughing Fish would be awarded to the Hurst side 5 - 0 This will be reflected in this weeks table." - Roy Wells, Fixtures Sec.

Premier table with just two games to go....... As Bob says, Hurst A have now finished their programme. The Zeds are now guaranteed runners-up in their worst case scenario of failing to add to their total and being overtaken by Plough L/B. Plough themselves have three other teams to fend off for second place should this not happen.Pos Team P W D L F A Pts Premier Div1 Mill House Z 12 9 0 3 40 20 49 2 Plough L/B 12 7 0 5 35 25 42 3 CKRBL 13 7 0 6 31 34 38 4= Greyhound 12 6 0 6 30 30 36 4= Watermill A 12 6 0 6 30 30 36 6 Hurst A 14 5 0 9 32 38 36 7 Hurst B 13 6 0 7 28 37 34 8 Laughing Fish 12 4 0 8 24 36 28 And the First Division: Plough of Plumpton took the Div One Championship in impressive style with a 4-1 away win at United Services.
