Eight Bells 4 Plough PG 2 The Eight Bells continue their late run up the table! 8-) Two wins in two days for the "in-form" Bells moves them up 2 places in the League...... Pos Team Played Won Draw Lost For Against Bonus Points
1= Hurst Club 9 5 3 1 32 22 13 45 1= United Services Club 9 5 2 2 33 21 12 45 3 Greyhound "B&B's" 9 4 2 3 28 26 10 38 4 Eight Bells 9 3 1 5 25 29 7 32 5 Laughing Fish 9 3 1 5 22.5 31.5 7 29.5 6 Plough Plumpton 9 0 5 4 21.5 32.5 5 26.5
........ and the USC will be hoping that the Eight Bells good run of form continues when the other joint leaders, Hurst Club, are the visitors next week in the last series of matches. ;D USC visit third place Greyhound and the Laughing Fish will hope that Henry will return in time to play at the Plough. ::) Great that the competition is going to be decided in the last week.... 8-) ...... anybody know what happens if 2 teams finish up level on points though..... ??? ;D

Certainly boiling up nicely, Andy will have to get his thinking cap on if teams end up level.

.... anybody know what happens if 2 teams finish up level on points though..... ??? ;D If the rules for Sussex Opens are anything to go by, "the players concerned will be taken outside and summarily shot". ;D ;D Well, that would certainly solve the problem Tommo...... :o ;D Hopefully the Hurst Team will take note and will decide that they need to win one leg less than us then...... :P 8-) Joking aside, I would assume that the order would be based on total points (both level at the moment), matches won (again both level ::)) and then number of legs won...... which we are 1 ahead on at the moment! 8-) ;D ;D But I am sure that Andy will have a solution to the problem if we do end up on the same number of points....... maybe a play-off at a neutral venue (the Laughing Fish perhaps...) would be the fairest way to decide it....... and it would mean that both teams could have another fun night out! 8-) 8-) 8-)
