For any interested Mid-Sussex players here are some abbreviated points from the yesterday's Committee meeting regarding the format for the coming season.
There will be two Divisions of 8 teams, both divisions playing each other (30 games). Jersey week in November will be kept free. Charity League has been dispensed with for this season.
CKRBL replaced in league by new team Horns Lodge. Third team (St Francis) promoted. Brewers Droops to be known henceforward as Brewers Arms.
Please await the full fixtures list as I cannot answer specific questions.
Your committee have again had to resolve the perenial problem of how to squeeze a quart into a pint pot ------------ we cannot have 'all-play-all' in the League games AND play the Charity Cup games as well and so hope you can all accept the decision that has been made with your best interests at heart. Over recent years we have successfully increased the number of teams in our league which has unwittingly caused this dilemma.

A mouthwatering 30 games again, that will sort out the sheep from the goats! ;D ;D And the prospect of 15 home games will certainly please our venue.
Looking forward to it.
And welcome to new team the Horns Lodge.

Fixtures have already been issued by Roy - in record time - and are already displayed on the website.
My thanks for Sav in helping me overcome a hiccup when converting from Excel. 8-)
