A separate thread for 'banter' to be raised if necessary. Friendly 'banter' is always necessary Tommo......... 8-) Mill House Z v United Services The reigning Premier Champions against the current Division 1 Leaders, both undefeated so far this season...... I think the Zeds will prove their class with a 4-1 home win. ;) Plough L/B v Hurst B Both teams still looking for their first win, but the Plough are hard to beat at home so I think a 3-2 home win. Greyhound v Brewers Bravos The Greyhound enjoyed a good win last week and I think they will climb further up the table with a 4-1 win, Spud to be the only winning visitor. ;) Watermill A v Watermill B The first Mill derby of the season, the A Team will "Bee" too strong for the B's and will win it 4-1. Brewers Arms v St Francis Two more unbeaten teams, the Brewers to clinch a 3-2 home win with Sir Jock hitting big. :o Hurst A v Eight Bells This could be a close match and much will depend on the draw...... Hurst to win 3-2 with Bobhall top scoring for the Home team and Doug hitting big for the visitors. ;) Laughing Fish v Plough P/G Both sides still seeking their first wins.... I think the Kippers will be giggling with a 3-2 home win, although H could get a rare defeat himself. :o :o Woolpack v Horns Lodge Likely to be another close match, with the visitors to Lodge their second 3-2 win of the season. ;) Good luck everybody.

Mill House Z v United Services
the mill house table playing well last night just a shame the team didnt get to grips as much as they would have liked but i think a 4-1 win to the z with tommo the big hitter
Plough L/B v Hurst B tough top and with the fire a 3-2 home win with steve top hitter for hurst and mark webber for plough
Greyhound v Brewers Bravos
bravos edge this one 3-2 bravo hitting 5k and trevor 4k as two top hitters
Watermill A v Watermill B nothing but 5-0 for the home side and kim the top star tonight
Brewers Arms v St Francis st francis will like this top so a 3-2 away win shaun to get andy and pull away a comfortable win jock hits 10k
Hurst A v Eight Bells hurst a edge away 3-2 victors bobhall is hoping for nick doug or ros tonight to hit a nice target rob top scorer tonight
Laughing Fish v Plough P/G fish win 4-1 H going for 20k but falls short but a nice 10k break
Woolpack v Horns Lodge woolpack win this 4-1 against horns lodge malcolm fuller top scorer

Mill House Z v United Services The USC team seem on good form this season, but the Mill House are a strong team. I think it will be a good tussle, but I'm going for a 3-2 home win.
Plough L/B v Hurst B Not played on the top since last season, but I would expect a medium scoring encounter between these two teams leading to a 3-2 away win.
Greyhound v Brewers Bravos Another potentially close game - much will depend on the draw. I will go for a 3-2 home win, with Bravo top scoring for the visitors.
Watermill A v Watermill B Have to agree with a 5-0 win for the A's.
Brewers Arms v St Francis With the new signings, I would say a 4-1 home win - Shaun winning for the visitors.
Hurst A v Eight Bells (got confused and got the draw the wrong way round originally, so new prediction) 3-2 home win, with 3x 8k + scores across the two teams
Laughing Fish v Plough P/G Well I'm going to go for a moderate 3-2 home win here. I will be going for it again tonight, but don't want to make any prediction. I think a certain guest star for the plough may hit a good 10k+ though tonight as long as he is allowed on the table!
Woolpack v Horns Lodge I guess I know a few of the Lodge players better than some. 4-1 away win, Chris Farrow top scorer!

Okay, let's see how we all got on..... Mill House Z 4 United Services 1The reigning Premier Champions against the current Division 1 Leaders, both undefeated so far this season...... I think the Zeds will prove their class with a 4-1 home win. ;) Correct for 1 point. ;D Plough L/B 3 Hurst B 2Both teams still looking for their first win, but the Plough are hard to beat at home so I think a 3-2 home win. Correct result..... 1 point. ;) Greyhound 2 Brewers Bravos 3The Greyhound enjoyed a good win last week and I think they will climb further up the table with a 4-1 win, Spud to be the only winning visitor. ;) No points here.... :'( Watermill A 4 Watermill B 1The first Mill derby of the season, the A Team will "Bee" too strong for the B's and will win it 4-1. Correct for 1 point. ;) Brewers Arms 2 St Francis 3Two more unbeaten teams, the Brewers to clinch a 3-2 home win with Sir Jock hitting big. :o No points here.... :( Hurst A 1 Eight Bells 4This could be a close match and much will depend on the draw...... Hurst to win 3-2 with Bobhall top scoring for the Home team and Doug hitting big for the visitors. ;) A bad night for the Hurst team..... but a couple of bonus points for me with Bobhall & Doug both top scoring for their teams. ;D Laughing Fish 2 Plough P/G 3Both sides still seeking their first wins.... I think the Kippers will be giggling with a 3-2 home win, although H could get a rare defeat himself. :o :o All 5 games going with the break...... table superb and fully justifies it's position at the top of Tommo's Tables Table...... H drawn with the break and didn't give his opponent a shot which meant no points for me...... but LOTS for H! 8-) Woolpack 1 Horns Lodge 4Likely to be another close match, with the visitors to Lodge their second 3-2 win of the season. ;) 0.5 point for the Away win.Good luck everybody. 5.5 points in total.... :)

How did leader Bobhall get on.... Mill House Z 4 United Services 1the mill house table playing well last night just a shame the team didnt get to grips as much as they would have liked but i think a 4-1 win to the z with tommo the big hitter Correct result plus a bonus for Tommo's nice 8k+ giving 2 points. ;D Plough L/B 3 Hurst B 2tough top and with the fire a 3-2 home win with steve top hitter for hurst and mark webber for plough Correct result and Mark did top score for the Plough for a bonus, Chris Kirkham top scoring for the visitors though..... 2points. ;) Greyhound 2 Brewers Bravos 3bravos edge this one 3-2 bravo hitting 5k and trevor 4k as two top hitters 1 point for the result..... Bravo (4k) and Trevor (3k) ended up playing each other and were both still top scorers for their teams so 2 Bonus Points. ;D Watermill A 4 Watermill B 1nothing but 5-0 for the home side and kim the top star tonight 0.5 point for the home win.... but Kim hit 7k to top score for a bonus point. ;) Brewers Arms 2 St Francis 3st francis will like this top so a 3-2 away win shaun to get andy and pull away a comfortable win jock hits 10k 1 point for the correct result.... but no bonuses. :'( Hurst A 1 Eight Bells 4hurst a edge away 3-2 victors bobhall is hoping for nick doug or ros tonight to hit a nice target rob top scorer tonight A Bobhall top-scorer (for his team) bonus... ;) Laughing Fish 2 Plough P/G 3fish win 4-1 H going for 20k but falls short but a nice 10k break Result wrong...... but 2 bonus points as H certainly did go for the 20k and hit a very nice 19290 break! :o Woolpack 1 Horns Lodge 4woolpack win this 4-1 against horns lodge malcolm fuller top scorer Wrong way round Bobhall.... ;D 12.5 points total this week.... ;)

Nice to have another Tipsters entry.... 8-) Mill House Z 4 United Services 1The USC team seem on good form this season, but the Mill House are a strong team. I think it will be a good tussle, but I'm going for a 3-2 home win. 0.5 points for predicting the home win. ;) Plough L/B 3 Hurst B 2Not played on the top since last season, but I would expect a medium scoring encounter between these two teams leading to a 3-2 away win. More like a low scoring encounter..... with a home win so no points here. :'( Greyhound 2 Brewers Bravos 3Another potentially close game - much will depend on the draw. I will go for a 3-2 home win, with Bravo top scoring for the visitors. No points for the result..... but a Bravo bonus point for top scoring. ;) Watermill A 4 Watermill B 1Have to agree with a 5-0 win for the A's. 0.5 points for the home win, the Flying Dutchman taking the 1 leg for the visitors. ;) Brewers Arms 2 St Francis 3With the new signings, I would say a 4-1 home win - Shaun winning for the visitors. A TSO bonus point only here. ;) Hurst A 1 Eight Bells 4(got confused and got the draw the wrong way round originally, so new prediction) 3-2 home win, with 3x 8k + scores across the two teams 0.5 bonus point for 3 good scores.... ;) Laughing Fish 2 Plough P/G 3Well I'm going to go for a moderate 3-2 home win here. I will be going for it again tonight, but don't want to make any prediction. I think a certain guest star for the plough may hit a good 10k+ though tonight as long as he is allowed on the table! No points for the result.... :P ;D .....but definitely worth a "going for it" bonus and another bonus for the "guest star" 10k+ prediction. 2 points. ;D ;D ;D Woolpack 1 Horns Lodge 4I guess I know a few of the Lodge players better than some. 4-1 away win, Chris Farrow top scorer! Correct result for 1 point....... no mention of Chris Farrow in the report from the Old Fella, so no bonus point I'm afraid. 6.5 points. ;)

Greyhound 3 Brewers Bravos 2Another potentially close game - much will depend on the draw. I will go for a 3-2 home win, with Bravo top scoring for the visitors. No points for the result..... need to wait for scores to come through to see if there is a Bravo Bonus.??? May I question the no points for the result? I predicted a 3-2 home win, and thats exactly what it was...Dave are you drunk or something?

It was actually a 3-2 Away win for the Bravos..... which I had put correctly in the other Tipsters Results, but for some reason put it as a 3-2 win for the Greyhound on yours. :o So, I was right to say no points I am afraid H..... and after 2 pints of Diet Coke not even an excuse for me getting it wrong either.... :-[ ;D

Nice score from H, but he'll have to learn to speed up a bit if he wants that elusive 20 grand. ;D ;D ;D

More than likely. Sparky would know. I know Ray played, and still plays the odd game of, cricket so it is almost certain he is the culprit ;D and will ask him (memory permitting 8-) 8-))

Zeds 4, USC 1 Unfortunately despite bringing WAGs along, USC were a player short which did not help their cause after such a great start to the season. Mill House table favouring those with local knowledge.......... SuperG 5110, Ron Wales 990 BarryT 5510, Sparky 1930 Margo 490, Ray Pratt 2870 Tommo 8270, Mick Kirwan 990 MrMike007 walkover. Thanks USC for a sociable evening. Thanks for a good evening Tommo and the way MrMike played in the friendly after shows you would have got a 4-1 result anyway, congratulations on well deserved win :) Nothing much wrong with the ' portable bb table'..........I just didn't adjust my game quickly enough to give Barry some opposition ;D Pity I cannot get the WAGs to play BB :o :o

Ray played for Lindfield. Also played for St Francis. He once took 2 catches of my bowling when I took 4 for 16, to bowl out and beat Horsted Keynes. Gerry Smith described as the worst day of his cricketing life. He also came on tour wIth us to Barbados. TSO
