Vikings v Masons A
Ok..the clock was playing up dropping at 11/12/13/ mins. Further coins was inserted to play the remaining agreed minutes.
Since then the clock has now been rectified and now runs 19 minutes.

Please note Vikings V Masons result subject to appeal Am i allowed to ask why ? Unfortunatly Mark the clock decided to play up dropping between 11 & 14mins. We carried on by inserting a coin to the agreed time of 16 mins. So I believe now the Masons A are appealing. Pete

Pete If this was agreed by both teams then so be it, but the rule is........... 16 Table time will be a minimum 15 minutes and a maximum 20 minutes. If the table runs for less than 15 mins the bar will be pulled again and play will continue until 15 minutes at which point any balls going into holes will be retained as if the bar had dropped. If the bar has not dropped by 20 minutes, any balls returning to the trap will be retained by the scorer as if the bar has dropped.

For the record, this occasionally happens down south and in the case of a faulty bar mechanism, everybody seems clear on the AEBBA Rule, ie a table time of between 15 and 20 mins agreed between the captains, the scorer times the game and any balls potted after time is called are removed from the tray.

That's right, Clive, as long as the teams agree they can make it any time they like as long as it's between the min & max times. I would usually say what ever the table usually goes but if they don't agree then the minimum time must be obeyed.
