Well, it looks like Bobhall may have forgotten about the Tipsters this week...... so maybe a chance to make up a few points on him! ;D
Watermill ‘B’ v Horns Lodge @ Greyhound This could be close if the draw is kind to the Bees, so I will go for a 3-2 win for the Lodge with Geoff Winson to top score.
Hurst ‘A’ v St Francis @ HHUSC The USC table was playing very well in it's new position on Monday so I am expecting some big scores. Bobhall to hit big and wins for Baby G and Peter Edwards to win the match for the Hurst 3-2, SpecialOne to hit the top score of the night though.
Brewers Arms v Greyhound @ St Francis This one will be decided by whichever team susses out the Saints table first..... 3-2 to the Greyhound with wins for TiR, Peter and Neil Burchell, big Andy and Dilly winning for the Brewers.
Hurst ‘B’ v Brewers Bravos @ Eight Bells Bravos to win this one 3-2, Adam wins but with a low score, Paul M-R and Spud take the Bravos home, the 2 Kings (Steve & Lear) winning for the Hurst team.
Mill House ‘Z’ v Plough P.G @ Brewers Hard to see anything but a comfortable win for the Zeds, 4-1 with Tommo, SuperG, Mick and Barry doing the damage.... Jan the only winner for the Plough.
Plough L.B v Eight Bells @ Woolpack The Bells are going well, but they won't like the table here...... 3-2 to the Bells with Doug, Nick and Denise the winners, Mark and Des replying.
Laughing Fish v HHUSC @ Watermill The change of venue should make the Kippers favorites, 3-2 win for them with H hitting big and Sparky top scoring for the USC.
Watermill ‘A’ v Woolpack @ Hurst SC The change of venue will suit both teams from the point of view of travel, the A Team should win this 4-1 with Kim, Norm and Chris all hitting big, Malc the only winner for the Woolies.

Ok, any chance to sneak up on leader Boball must be taken............. Apologies if any predictions match BBW's, I am going into this blind.
Watermill ‘B’ v Horns Lodge @ Greyhound I'll take the Horns Lodge to edge this one, as a backlash from last week's heavy defeat.
Hurst ‘A’ v St Francis @ HHUSC Likewise, a Saints backlash after the week before: TSO to win both the drinking and top score of the night.
Brewers Arms v Greyhound @ St Francis I tossed a coin for this one and it came down heads so the Brewers to scrape through.
Hurst ‘B’ v Brewers Bravos @ Eight Bells To even things up so one each of Hurst and Brewers are in the cup and plate I'll take the Hurst B to win this one.
Mill House ‘Z’ v Plough P.G @ Brewers Difficult one to predict. The 'other' Plough nearly beat us here last year. I'll hedge my bets and say 3-2 either way.
Plough L.B v Eight Bells @ Woolpack I'll take the Plough LB to cause an upset, if only as an opportunity to further wind up the Eight Bells before we play them next week. ;D
Laughing Fish v HHUSC @ Watermill The Fish are good in the Cups so they will still be laughing at the end of the evening.
Watermill ‘A’ v Woolpack @ Hurst SC The Watermill get the double whammy of two venues changed by consent under the new rule- one now on theirs and one where they do not have to travel to the wilds of Crawley. So I hope the ladies win, but sadly they won't.

Okay, me first...... Well, it looks like Bobhall may have forgotten about the Tipsters this week...... so maybe a chance to make up a few points on him! ;D Watermill ‘B’5 Horns Lodge 0 @ Greyhound This could be close if the draw is kind to the Bees, so I will go for a 3-2 win for the Lodge with Geoff Winson to top score. No points for this game for meHurst ‘A’ 5 St Francis 0 @ HHUSC The USC table was playing very well in it's new position on Monday so I am expecting some big scores. Bobhall to hit big and wins for Baby G and Peter Edwards to win the match for the Hurst 3-2, SpecialOne to hit the top score of the night though. 0.5 for the Hurst win...... Baby G, Pete Edwards and Bobhall all won so 2.5 bonus points as no big hit for Bobhall. ::)Brewers Arms 4 Greyhound 1 @ St Francis This one will be decided by whichever team susses out the Saints table first..... 3-2 to the Greyhound with wins for TiR, Peter and Neil Burchell, big Andy and Dilly winning for the Brewers. No points for the results.... big Andy and Dilly bringing in a couple of bonus points though.Hurst ‘B’ 3 Brewers Bravos 2 @ Eight Bells Bravos to win this one 3-2, Adam wins but with a low score, Paul M-R and Spud take the Bravos home, the 2 Kings (Steve & Lear) winning for the Hurst team. No points again for the result.... Adam hit 8.6k to win so only 0.5 points for me for that, but wins for Spud and King Steve give me a total of 2.5.Mill House ‘Z’ 3 Plough P.G 2 @ Brewers Hard to see anything but a comfortable win for the Zeds, 4-1 with Tommo, SuperG, Mick and Barry doing the damage.... Jan the only winner for the Plough. 0.5 for the Zeds win...... Mick & Barry both winning for them while Jan beat SuperG giving me a total of 3.5 points here. 8-) Plough L.B 3 Eight Bells 2 @ Woolpack The Bells are going well, but they won't like the table here...... 3-2 to the Bells with Doug, Nick and Denise the winners, Mark and Des replying. No points for the surprise result...... Doug won for the Bells (with the only score above 4k) and Mark also won plus 0.5 bonus for predicting Bells would struggle on the table giving 2.5 points in total.Laughing Fish 5 HHUSC 0 @ Watermill The change of venue should make the Kippers favorites, 3-2 win for them with H hitting big and Sparky top scoring for the USC. 0.5 for the result.... H hit 5.6k and Sparky top-scored for USC (despite losing) so 2 bonus points as well. Watermill ‘A’ 3 Woolpack 2 @ Hurst SC The change of venue will suit both teams from the point of view of travel, the A Team should win this 4-1 with Kim, Norm and Chris all hitting big, Malc the only winner for the Woolies. 0.5 for the result and 3 bonus points for kim, Norm and Malc Points this week..... 19.5

Watermill ‘B’ 5 Horns Lodge 0 @ Greyhound I'll take the Horns Lodge to edge this one, as a backlash from last week's heavy defeat. Another heavy defeat means no points here. :'( Hurst ‘A’ 5 St Francis 0 @ HHUSC Likewise, a Saints backlash after the week before: TSO to win both the drinking and top score of the night. Nicely evened for another point.... 8-) Mill House ‘Z’ 3 Plough P.G 2 @ Brewers Difficult one to predict. The 'other' Plough nearly beat us here last year. I'll hedge my bets and say 3-2 either way. Hmmmm..... "each-way" betting now...... ::) and Tommo losing 3k in the last to lose to "Al Murray" so could we have a bit of dodgy dealing going on through the Indian Bookmakers as well.... :P .....only 0.5 points for the result..... plus a 0.5 bonus for getting your a**e kicked in the end! ;D Plough L.B 3 Eight Bells 2 @ Woolpack I'll take the Plough LB to cause an upset, if only as an opportunity to further wind up the Eight Bells before we play them next week. ;D The only tipster to predict the surprise of the week gets you 1 point..... plus a bonus point for the banter in advance of next weeks match. 8-)Laughing Fish 5 HHUSC 0 @ Watermill The Fish are good in the Cups so they will still be laughing at the end of the evening. I'm sure that the Kippers giggled all the way home..... and earned you another point. ;) Watermill ‘A’ 3 Woolpack 2 @ Hurst SC The Watermill get the double whammy of two venues changed by consent under the new rule- one now on theirs and one where they do not have to travel to the wilds of Crawley. I think that most of our side decided to rest themselves in readiness for next week, at our ages we cant handle too much excitement, and anyway, we have the plate trophy to defend, and another thing is we lost to the better side, and I thought that the table played well, and they scored more points than we did, and there was a cooking demonstration in the bar. No real excuses, I suppose ;)
Next week is going to be tuff with Nick being dropped for getting the lowest score ::)

Damn! That coveted Plate is really ours by right - we were proud winners in 2007/08............. :'(
Not sure about the ageist claims though, Doug, as with five retirees in our squad we'd probably edge that one. ;)
