Here we go yet again.......... Mill House Z v Plough Plumpton we rate the Plough as one of the classier sides who are capable of taking away our 100% record: we beat 'em in the Team Cup so they'll be trying that much harder. 3-2 away win. Plough Lower Beeding v Laughing Fish Two Premier sides slugging it out on a difficult top. Fish are used to struggling so 3-2 to them Greyhound v Hurst A Yet another close call, this time I'll plump for a 3-2 home win. Watermill A v Brewers Arms A battle of the heavyweights, the home side will edge it 3-2 Brewers Bravos v Horns Lodge Two more evenly-matched sides, I'll take the Lodge to get their form back for a 3-2 win. Hurst B v Watermill B Watermill B are buoyant at the moment, but the Hurst are too good at home. 4-1 to them. United Services Club v St Francis St Francis may well find their way to the venue, but will they find their way home? After inflicting a 4-1 defeat. Woolpack v Eight Bells Eight Bells to bounce back quickly with a 4-1 here.

My prediction is no show on the 1st tee, disqualified! Woolie 0 8 Bells 5 Dougie and Nick go massive

Ok, here are my tips for next week....
Mill House Z v Plough Plumpton The "champions elect" could have a tough game on their hands here as the visitors have hit a bit of form lately.... but I think that home advantage will tell and the Zeds machine will win this. Wins for SuperG, Tommo and Mike007 for the home side, Chase and Dave K for the visitors.
Plough Lower Beeding v Laughing Fish Henry now playing on his (least) favorite table in the League and I think that now gives the Fish the slight edge here, so an away win for me with H, Andy and Les winning for the Fish and Mark Webber and Geoff winning for the home side.
Greyhound v Hurst A Bobhall missing again this week (he must think that he has a better chance of "scoring" at the school girls disco, or here on Tipsters, than he does on a table at the moment! :P ;D), but with the table here gone to the Dogs at the moment I don't think anybody will be hitting any big scores in this game tonight. But the Greyhound will finally get there season up and running with a close win thanks to battling victories for Trevor and Father & Son Burchell, Baby G and Pete Edwards replying for the visitors.
Watermill A v Brewers Arms Two of the strongest line-ups in the League (IMHO) meet up, the Brewers will win the day in a close match with wins for AFW, Derek and Dilly. Kim & Norm to win for the home side, one of them beating Sir Jock (on his least favorite table...!) ;D
Brewers Bravos v Horns Lodge A home win banker for me this week, with Adam looking to punish someone for his rare defeat last week with a big 10k. Spud will also hit big and wins for Paul & Lynne M-R will leave the visitors with just the 1 point. ::)
Hurst B v Watermill B The Bees good run will come crashing to a halt here, Kings Steve & Lear, IanG, Chris and Colleen all winning tonight. ;D
United Services Club v St Francis TSO will lead his team to victory here, wins for him, Matt and Manly Harveys. Sparky and new "Guy" the home winners.
Woolpack v Eight Bells No Nick this week for the Bells, but they should still have enough firepower to win this one. Doug, Ros, Denise and Trevor win the visitors, Malcolm the home winner.

Holy-moly! I thought i might put some predictions up before work but i seem to have intruded into some wierd Bob fantasy world. To keep the spirit of things up i will therefore don my best gimp outfit before continuing...
Right, now i'm cosy, lets go...
Millhouse Vs. Plough (pg) The Plumpton team have the equipment to take this one but i believe "Fortress Millhouse" will still be standing. 4-1 to the home team.
Plough LB Vs. Laughing Fish The lack of the eighth letter of the alpabet for the away team swings this in favour of a home victory. 3-2 to the Plough.
Greyhound Vs. Hurst A Tough one to call really. Two good sides but i reckon the hound will edge this one 3-2, Trevor winning the crucial frame.
Watermill A Vs. Brewers Arms Another good clash in prospect here. The home team are tough to beat on their top so will go with another narrow 3-2 win but Andy doing well on the night.
Brewers Bravos vs. Horns Lodge Tables a bit tricky at the mo, and i have horrible memories of Chris Farrow giving me an absolute hiding last season, so this could be a tricky match. Will (cross fingers) go for a 3-2 home victory but only Bravo to hit big.
Hurst B Vs Watermill B Have to go with a 4-1 home victory here, John and Steve to hit big. This might be harder to confirm, but i have a suspicion there will be a 4-break calamity at some point tonight. Bit of a wierd one but lets try something new.
Woolpack Vs. Eight Bells The Eight Bells to take this one 3-2 but Nige (if hes playing) to take a point for the home side. (Thought i might cheer my Monday teamate on).
USC Vs. St Francis The "heath" derby. Think the home side will take this one 3-2, Sparky and Mick leading the way to victory.
Cheers all.

Tommo first.... as usual ;D Here we go yet again.......... Mill House Z 5 Plough Plumpton 0we rate the Plough as one of the classier sides who are capable of taking away our 100% record: we beat 'em in the Team Cup so they'll be trying that much harder. 3-2 away win.Once again, Tommo's lack of faith in his own team helps them to a win in the League.... ;D ..... but earns him no points here. :'( Plough Lower Beeding 2 Laughing Fish 3Two Premier sides slugging it out on a difficult top. Fish are used to struggling so 3-2 to them1 point for the correct result...... H hit 8.5k, apparently without playing the split shot once! :o Greyhound 2 Hurst A 3Yet another close call, this time I'll plump for a 3-2 home win.Certainly close, but the away time victorious so no points here. :( Watermill A 3 Brewers Arms 2A battle of the heavyweights, the home side will edge it 3-21 point for the correct result. ;) Brewers Bravos 3 Horns Lodge 2Two more evenly-matched sides, I'll take the Lodge to get their form back for a 3-2 win.Quite correct to say 3-2...... but the incorrect team (for you anyway) were the winners. :'( Hurst B 5 Watermill B 0Watermill B are buoyant at the moment, but the Hurst are too good at home. 4-1 to them.0.5 for the home win.United Services Club 3 St Francis 2St Francis may well find their way to the venue, but will they find their way home? After inflicting a 4-1 defeat. The shock of the night with USC finding their form again. 8-) No points here.Woolpack 2 Eight Bells 3Eight Bells to bounce back quickly with a 4-1 here.0.5 for the away win...... Points this week..... 3.0

Now Specialone...... can he follow up his impressive form from last week ;) Z's 4 PPG 1 The Zeds applied the brush..... 0.5 for the home win.PLB 4 Fish 1 PLB finally find form, win for Des The Fish won 3-2 here, H says that Des not among the winners either. :'( Hound 2 Hurst 3 H's bitch back with a win or to get something better than a win, something 'special' Correct result for 1 point, H's "B" not playing as too busy with the school girls...... a "special" bonus point here as well. ;D Watermill A 2 Brewers Arms 3 another away win .... or even another home win, 3-2 to the A Team means no points here. :-/ Bravos 3 Horny Lodge 2 "Bravo" Spesh.....you are quite right for a good point. ;D Hurst b 4 Watermill 1 Hurst B also applied the brush..... 0.5 for the home win.Saints 3 the other club 2 TSO has an 8:30 tee time at Lewes the following morning. My prediction is no show on the 1st tee, disqualified! The other club pulled off a 3-2 win so no points here...... hope you made it to the 1st tee on time, best way to revive your spirits after drowning your sorrows last night. ;D Woolie 0 8 Bells 5 Dougie and Nick go massive Only a 3-2 win for the Bells giving 0.5 points...... no Nick this week but 1 bonus point for Doug who hit top score of the night..... a "massive" 3430. ::) Points this week..... 5.5

The "H Factor" was the difference between the teams, 1 point for the correct result and 2 bonus points for wins by H and Les. ;D Greyhound 2 Hurst A 3Bobhall missing again this week (he must think that he has a better chance of "scoring" at the school girls disco, or here on Tipsters, than he does on a table at the moment! :P ;D), but with the table here gone to the Dogs at the moment I don't think anybody will be hitting any big scores in this game tonight. Sparky and new "Guy" the home winners. The surprise result of the night means no points for the result, but Sparky and TSO give me 2 bonus points for their wins. :D Woolpack 2 Eight Bells 3No Nick this week for the Bells, but they should still have enough firepower to win this one. Doug, Ros, Denise and Trevor win the visitors, Malcolm the home winner. 0.5 for the away win, with 4 bonus points thanks to wins by Doug, Ros, Denise and Malcolm. 8-) Points this week.... 29.5

Millhouse 5 Plough (pg) 0The Plumpton team have the equipment to take this one but i believe "Fortress Millhouse" will still be standing. 4-1 to the home team. The fortress was certainly still standing...... 0.5 for the home win. ;D Plough LB 2 Laughing Fish 3The lack of the eighth letter of the alpabet for the away team swings this in favour of a home victory. 3-2 to the Plough. The Eighth letter changed his mind and was present..... hit 8k...... and meant no points here for you. :'( Greyhound 2 Hurst A 3Tough one to call really. Two good sides but i reckon the hound will edge this one 3-2, Trevor winning the crucial frame. Only a bonus point for Trevor's win here..... ;) Watermill A 3 Brewers Arms 2Another good clash in prospect here. This might be harder to confirm, but i have a suspicion there will be a 4-break calamity at some point tonight. Bit of a wierd one but lets try something new. 0.5 for the home win....... 2 bonus points and 2 additional bonus points as 2 visiting players 4 times'd the break. :o ;DWoolpack 2 Eight Bells 3The Eight Bells to take this one 3-2 but Nige (if hes playing) to take a point for the home side. (Thought i might cheer my Monday teamate on). A good point for the result here, Nige unfortunately one of the 3 losers for the Woolies. :'( USC 3 St Francis 2The "heath" derby. Think the home side will take this one 3-2, Sparky and Mick leading the way to victory. Excellent point for the surprise winners, Sparky gains a bonus point but Mick lost to TSO. ;) Cheers all. Plough were good sports and consumed vast quantities of ale, would beat St Francis I think in a drink-off. If you really think 10 pints between 5 people over a whole evening is "vast quantities" of ale, then you must have led a very sheltered life... ;D PS what am i doing wrong, that i'm seeing the smiley just as semicolon D and not as a grinning face? i haven't got the disable smilies box ticked thanks Dave :)
