Team Cup Quarter Finals- Wed 26th Jan
Watermill ‘A’ v Mill House @ St Francis The Zeds only won the Cup Final with the help of two Johnnies last May, and they're resting from the side at present. May drag them out to play if we're up against the Fish in a later round! But we've wobbled a couple of times recently, so I reckon we could slip up here. 4-1 to the Watermill.
Watermill ‘B’ v Hurst ‘B’ @ Mill House Providing the venue doesn't get changed, the Hurst B will love this table, which will have been installed in the bar since Monday. 5-0 to the Hurst with Steve King hitting big with 9k-plus.
Brewers Arms v Hurst ‘A’ @ Watermill Wow, what a difficult match to call. The table could play a part here. I've tossed a coin and the decision went to the Brewers, 3-2.
Plough L.B v Laughing Fish @ Plough P.GBrewers Another difficult one. Plough have missed Keith Potter badly this year but the 'ball-banger' Spud II might manage to break the table so I'll go for an abandonment. :o ::) :D Seriously, the Plough to win to make nonsense of their lowly league position.
Team Plate Quarter Finals- Wed 26th Jan
Greyhound v Plough P.G @ Hurst The Greyhound have a couple of Interleague players who are used to this table and should be able to muster a third winner. 3-2 to the Giant Whippet. ;)
HHUSC v St Francis @ Hornslodge Not a bad choice of venue to send the two Haywards Heath teams to.....The laws of backlash and bouncebackability say that the Frannies should win this one.
Brewers Bravos v Hornslodge @ HHUSC On an ever-improving USC table, the Bravos' big hitters will enjoy this one and win with something to spare.
Eight Bells v Woolpack @ Laughing Fish Females outnumbering the males here tonight: No big scores but the Bells will take it 4-1.
Good luck to all.

Tomo
Re your Greyhound Plough PG prediction.
The last time I played at Hurst was September and our only home Interleague B match so far was October so I have almost forgotten where Hurst Club is let alone how the table plays!

Only me, tough tipping week this one. Watermill A 1 Mill House 4 Suspect the Watermill will have already talked themselves out of this one. Tommo and twin to get 15k= between them, as will players 1 and 3 from the Millhouse.
Watermill B 0 Hurst B 5 No obviously vertically challenged here, and the senior Citizens(oldgits) can be a bit hard of hearing and very hard of thinking, 3 foreheads collide with the beams.
Brewers Arms 3 Hurst A 2 Hurst dicked us 5-0 in first round. I wished them the very best in the next round, only said it didn't mean it. Think I know who will lose the leg that decides their fate, however the new PC Specialone will not say.
PLB 2 Fish 3 Only one player to score more than 14k. Not saying who as I don't want to 'dis' the other 9.
Hound 2 PPG 3
other club v Saints They knocked us out same stage last year and have beaten us in the league since, this must stop. The rabid Mad Dogs to win. 2-3 the score.
Bravos 4 Horny Lodge 1
8 Bells 4 Woolie 1 Could know the Woolie Winner 'Females out numbering the males'?. Hopefully H's dad will find them some cleaning and washing up to keep them busy and focused when they are not playing. thepoliticallycorrectone.

Good to see that whenever TSO sees a line he can't resit the urge to strip naked and dance the Fandango right over it! (Well, i don't think it would be good to "see" that, but you know what i mean...)
Anyway, on with the tomfoolery.
Watermill A Vs. Millhouse The Watermill are a strong side but i still can't see the Millhouse being denied another victory. 3-2 to the 'House
Watermill B Vs. Hurst B Whilst i would still expect the Hurst club to take this one i certainly don't expect the mill to be rolling over on the night so will predict a 3-2 victory for the hurst lot.
Brewers Arms Vs Hurst A The Brewers are really beginning to motor and the table was playing well when Bravo and I played there recently so will go for a 4-1 victory. Sorry Bobhall.
Plough L.B. Vs. Laughing Fish Have to go with the Fish in this one, 3-2. With a long-playing table, H might fill his boots spectacuarly. 20k? Oh, go on then, lets make an outside bet. (No pressure then H).
Greyhound Vs Plough PG Very tough one to call indeed, both sides being closely matched. Will actually go for a close Plough victory, 3-2.
HHUSC Vs. St.Francis The USC have had some good results recently but this time i will back the Saints to take a 3-2 victory.
Bravos Vs Horns Lodge Bravo certainly did enjoy this table in his superb singles match against Doug (pleasure to watch by the way guys) so for once will predict a 4-1 victory for the Bravos to end our knockout match hoodoo.
Eight Bells vs Woolpack The Bells to beat the Belles (groan) 4-1

Now seriously for a change. Name two differences between Richard Keys and Andy Gray? Andy is suing the Screws of the World for Phone tapping, Richard is not. Richard has a job, unlike Andy, who does not. The bonus questions are, who owns the Screws and who owns Sky.

Time to do bit of marking...... the enthusiastic Tommo first. ;) Team Cup Quarter Finals- Wed 26th JanWatermill ‘A’ 2.5 Mill House 3.5 @ St Francis The Zeds only won the Cup Final with the help of two Johnnies last May, and they're resting from the side at present. May drag them out to play if we're up against the Fish in a later round! But we've wobbled a couple of times recently, so I reckon we could slip up here. 4-1 to the Watermill. No points here, but at least the team won again..... keep backing them to lose Tommo, you obviously learned that is the best way to win from the Eight Bells earlier this season. ;DWatermill ‘B’ 1 Hurst ‘B’ 4 @ Mill House Providing the venue doesn't get changed, the Hurst B will love this table, which will have been installed in the bar since Monday. 5-0 to the Hurst with Steve King hitting big with 9k-plus. From the scores in the match, I suspect that the only thing the Hurst team loved was the result. 1 point for predicting the Hurst win and a bonus point as King Steve won..... will now expect to see the Mill House table tumble down the rankings. :oBrewers Arms 0 Hurst ‘A’ 5 @ Watermill Wow, what a difficult match to call. The table could play a part here. I've tossed a coin and the decision went to the Brewers, 3-2. Hmmm..... no points here. :'(Plough L.B 0 Laughing Fish 5 @ Plough P.GBrewers Another difficult one. Plough have missed Keith Potter badly this year but the 'ball-banger' Spud II might manage to break the table so I'll go for an abandonment. :o ::) :D Seriously, the Plough to win to make nonsense of their lowly league position. And bounce back they did..... 2 points. :DBrewers Bravos 5 Hornslodge 0 @ HHUSC On an ever-improving USC table, the Bravos' big hitters will enjoy this one and win with something to spare. They certainly did, despite PMR losing 6.5k and Bravo pegging 8.5k :o .....2 points.Eight Bells 2 Woolpack 3 @ Laughing Fish Females outnumbering the males here tonight: No big scores but the Bells will take it 4-1. Tommo and twin to get 15k= between them, as will players 1 and 3 from the Millhouse. One point for the Mill House win, plus a bonus for Tommo's victory. ;)
Watermill B 0 Hurst B 5 No obviously vertically challenged here, and the senior Citizens(oldgits) can be a bit hard of hearing and very hard of thinking, 3 foreheads collide with the beams. 1 point for the Hurst win, no report of cracked foreheads but a bonus for the thought. ;D
Brewers Arms 3 Hurst A 2 Hurst dicked us 5-0 in first round. I wished them the very best in the next round, only said it didn't mean it. Think I know who will lose the leg that decides their fate, however the new PC Specialone will not say. Hmmmm...... another 5-0 Hurst A win means nothing in the way of points here. :'(PLB 2 Fish 3 Only one player to score more than 14k. Not saying who as I don't want to 'dis' the other 9. 1 point for the Fish win..... no big scores, so no big bonus. :'(Hound 2 PPG 3 PPG swept the board with a 5-0 win, 1 point.other club 2 Saints 3They knocked us out same stage last year and have beaten us in the league since, this must stop. Hopefully H's dad will find them some cleaning and washing up to keep them busy and focused when they are not playing. No points for the shock 3-2 win for the Woolies...... I should probably deduct points for your very non-PC description of what the players should have been doing while waiting to play, but will give you a bonus point as I am sure that he was meant in good humour.... :-/ ;Dthepoliticallycorrectone. We can award a few extra bonus points though while we are awaiting the reports...... Tommo gets one for prompting H to provide a report for the week before.... Where's your report from last night? ::) Priorities and all that! ;D It didn't work...... ::) ..... but H did show his talents are not restricted to just bar billiards and playing the guitar...... Je suis tres lazy! How's my pig french? Bobhall however is clearly a "cunning linguist" (I had to be careful about spelling that in case I offended anybody..... ;D) with his response.... yes you are very lazy but could be busy too so here you go Mais H vous êtes un joueur redoutable et sera en haut du tableau Meanwhile TiR and his team clearly need a TomTom to find their way to the Hurst..... and after a 5-0 defeat, maybe a book of instructions on playing the table there..... :o Tomo Re your Greyhound Plough PG prediction. The last time I played at Hurst was September and our only home Interleague B match so far was October so I have almost forgotten where Hurst Club is let alone how the table plays! Totally agree with the sacking of Andy Gray. There is no place for blatant sexism in sport. Banged my head on a beam whilst scoring last night, being put into care later in the week. Shaun We thought Les Jones might have a problem at the Mill House on Tuesday, and had some Arnica, vinegar and brown paper handy. :o He managed to survive without mishap though, but it was fun to watch him swaying his head around all evening like a giraffe! ;D ;D Which gives us the following bonuses to add on....
