Is there any reason why the Comrades Club are playing at the Gladiators Club for the 3rd neutral match in a row ? (9th Dec v Masons A, 13th Jan v Masons B, now this game)

Might have to change a couple of venue,s. Masons A will not be playing at Vikings.
Simon Ellam and his team are quite happy to play at the Glad's.
Will have a look after the Oxon Open and let you know in good time.

Sorry folks but I had to change venue's around, I have emailed players from each team.
Now as follows...
Glad's A v Kennington now to be played at Comrades....NOT Masons
Masons A v Didcot CC now at Glad's....NOT Vikings..( B Side are at home)
Democrats v Comrades now at Masons....NOT Glad's I Know Demos have just played there, they lost 4-1 and probably have a diifferen't side out next time due to the amount of players they have signed on.
Masons B v Vikings At Didcot CC
Demos..Confirmed..... Glad's confirmed.....Masons A confirmed Kennington confirmed
Sorry about the changes but I had no choice.
Hope it all works out

I know mistakes might be made but the above venue's had to be changed for reasons.
It's a difficult job trying to sort out these final venue's and keep everybody happy but I DON'T WANT certain players giving me grief. I do NOT need this. I am doing my very best to please everyone.
The match this week between Democrats and Comrades Club due to be played at the Masons has been cancelled.
Comrades only have two players ???
Just for the record....4 Matches..Comrades....3 Matches..Kennington..Demos..Glad's..Masons (1 o/s)
2 Matches..Vikings ..Didcot CC
20 matches.

I am assuming that as Comrades have cancelled their game, they will have one point deducted. Is this right?

If for any reason a team cannot play on this day they must notify their opponents as soon as possible before the match and arrange another evening suitable to both teams. The match must be played within 14 days of the original fixture. Rule 20..If a team cancels a match they will be deducted one point, unless they arrange to play it before the date of the original match. |

Ian Gordon losing his game when the bar dropped 2.27 early ??? :-/ Needing the 200 to win and knocking the black peg over.
Friendly landlord very accommodating considering he knew nothing about the game and there was a darts competition on!

Dolphin V Gladiator Club 'B'
1. Sabrina Storch 2340 lost to Neil Cunliffe 2600 :) Close game this but Neil just took it on top end crawl.
2. Bex Jarvis 670 lost to Grant Johnson 2980 :) Quite an easy game for Grant.
3. Kirsty Jarvis 1360 lost to Reg Johnson 2450 :) Ditto for Reg.
4. Martin Atkins 7670 beat Pete Smith 2240 :( Poor old Pete second time these two have met with the same result.
5. Mel Stanbridge 1590 lost to Phil Clark 3720 :) Close game in the beginning with neither player able to get the balls back until the end when Phil had a mini break to inch ahead.
Dolphin 1 Gladiator Club 4.
A good friendly match with no interference from the regulars as the pub was closed for redecoration, but the hammering and drilling was a bit of a strange atmosphere to play in. Credit to the landlord and landlady for a fine evening as they only had an hours warning about the match. ::)

What a crock of manure it was !
NO ONE got the break more than once ! One up, never required, every game won on accumalated scores from the bottom end highest score was me with just over 2K
Sid was lucky for the second week running.... opponent knocking the BP over midway through (second week running) and losing a decise break near the end. Sid has to get most wins wiith luck like this
