Horns Lodge v Mill House Z Zeds have been averaging 4-1 per match so far, but this one will only be a 3-2. Kevin Stevens to win a good game for the Lodge. Woolpack v Plough Lower Beeding Woolpack will be happy to rest on their Laurels, Plough coming away with the points in this basement battle. United Services Club v Greyhound The Hound's racing days seem over this season, however they will get over the line tonight - but Sparky will sparkle and Terry step on the Gas for the club. Hurst B v Watermill A Closest match of the round - a tie maybe ? - 3-2 to the home side despite good wins for Kim and Chris. Brewers Bravos v Brewers Arms The Arms will assert their authority over their B string, for whom Master Bateup the sole victor. Watermill B v Hurst A This fixture couldn't have come at a better time for the Hurst, following on the back of a fine Team cup triumph over their closest rivals. 5-0 to them with BabyGuinness and Boball the stars of the show. St Francis v Laughing Fish The Fish will be all at sea here. My Billy Bass predicts it will be 4-1 to the Saints, with their captain reeling in a big'un. Eight Bells v Plough Plumpton The Bells have dropped a couple of clangers recently, but there is a lot resting on this match, and with the Swan Menace returning they will have just enough to tip the balance in their favour.

sitting at the pc as its free for a while. so thought I would throw my thoughts in.
Horns Lodge V Mill House
2-3 away win Kev Stevens & Dave Tiffen, all the usual suspects from Mill but only 3. Top score 6K
Woolpack V Plough LB 2-3 away win Jan Hinkins & Malc. Mark Geoff & Des for Plough
United Services V Greyhound
I Think a 4-1 to the dogs Peter Geoff & Trevor all play well
Hurst B V Watermill A
3-2 home win here Hurst will be out for revenge from the 1st half Darrell is finding form & will hit big Chris Niloji always likes the Hurst top
Watermill B V Hurst A The A team will win 4-1 after their cup match last week The boss Gavin Offord is in good form & will show the team what to do. pick any of the Hurst players as they are all capable
Saints V Laughing Fish
3-2 home win Shaun Mat & Manly Harveys possibly a repeat of a 6K score Jim Ashford could be the suprise for the fish.
Eight Bells V Plough PG. 3-2 away win Nick Brown if he plays will be top for the bells. Dave Knight for the Plough & Darren to play Lady Ros.
Brewers Bravos V Brewers arms tough one to call but as the arms are the away side with 3 breaks I will go with them for a 3-2 win Sir Jock to play Bravo in a even battle untill Bravo takes it.

I think you will see that I'm observing all the rules by not naming more than 3 players to win. ;D
I could have been predictable & said Tommo & super G but did not want to.

Never mind tipping to lose or tipping the usual suspects, what about tipping matches at all Mr Giffen!
Does the all-important Brewers derby mean nothing to you? Tottenham Vs. Arsenal has nothing on this match. ;) ;D

Right, work finished, to work...
Horns Lodge Vs. Mill House Fancy that the visitors will take this one with some to spare. 4-1, Geoff taking the point for the Lodge.
Woolpack vs Plough LB I'll go with the woolies for once, so a 3-2 victory for the home side it is.
USC vs Greyhound The USC have had some excellent results recently and i will back them to continue this run with a 3-2 victory.
Hurst B vs Watermill A A close call indeed, with the draw being key here. Will back the mill to edge this 3-2 but would not be surprised by any score in this one.
Brewers derby The (ex) ponytail one has spoken and one is loathe to bite the hand that feeds me so i will duly say that a massive effort will see the Bravos take this one 3-2. Am i back on the side skip?
Watermill B vs Hurst A Massively underestimated the Hurst team last week and won't be doing that again. 4-1 to the visitors with 2 5k plus scores.
St.Francis vs Laughing Fish Another close match with an enticing H vs TSO match in prospect. Think the home side will edge this one with a 3-2 victory.
Eight Bells Vs Plough PG Yet another one that is tough to call but the oracles i reguarly consult say that the Bells will take a good victory, 3-2.
Thats all folks.

Horny Lodge 0 Z's 5 Kinda takes care of who I think the winning players will be, no head bangers
Woolie 2 PLB 3
other club 2 Hound 3
Hurst b 2 Watermill 3
Bravos 2 Arms 3
Watermill 0 Hurst A 5
Saints 3 Fish 2 3-2 written all over this one, must back the rabid mad dogs for this one. I realise that my tipping has sometimes been a bit conservative in the past, not any more, for this one I am tipping someone who has never won a league game at St Francis, yes H to lose his Saints virginity.
8 Bells 2 PPG 3 Not sure if Swan menace is playing, so will tip his Pen to win. TSO

Horns Lodge 0-5 Mill House Z
Lodge will put up a fight, but I reckon the Z's will be just that bit too strong - and if the table is still set up ok, will probably like it!
Woolpack 3-2 Plough Lower Beeding
On home turf and fresh from last weeks win, I think the Woolpack will edge this one.
United Services Club 2-3 Greyhound Table playing beautifully on Monday night, this match might see a couple of a big hits!
Hurst B 3-2 Watermill A
A's don't like the Hurst top, but I can see some closely contested games here.
Brewers Bravos 2-3 Brewers Arms
I wasn't impressed last week I have to be honest, but if the table is set up properly this week, we could see a number of big hits, with the Arms just edging it.
Watermill B 1-4 Hurst A
Table tricky at last visit, but playable once you figure it out. Hurst shouldn't have too much trouble!
St Francis 2-3 Laughing Fish
Going in blind here - looking forward to the table. I'm gonna push the boat out and say we continue our winning streak by the narrowest of margins.
Eight Bells 2-3 Plough Plumpton
I think the Plough will come in all guns blazing. Much will depend on the draw, but I reckon they will take this.

Hurst B v Watermill A watermill will love the table so a nice 4-1 win here for the a team and mr boss man kim wins followed by chris norman and john after poor john lost on the top on monday. colleen the only player winning for hurst

A few thoughts for this week only....
Horns Lodge v Mill House Z The Zeds will take the brush to the Lodge, but it will be a low scoring match.
Woolpack v Plough Lower Beeding A welcome home win for the Woolies, with Malc winning against his old team.
United Services Club v Greyhound A close 3-2 away win, with Trevor hitting big for the visitors.
Hurst B v Watermill A It will all depend on the draw...... tossed a coin and it came up heads..... 3-2 home win.
Brewers Bravos v Brewers Arms The table didn't seem to be playing very well from the scores in the Monday Brewers Derby..... but the Arms will win 4-1, despite Adam playing tonight and will he hit big providing there are no foreign objects left lying around under the table.... :o
Watermill B v Hurst A A 4-1 win for the Hurst team, Bobhall hitting a good score.
St Francis v Laughing Fish I think that H will end the evening very frustrated as I really can't see the Assissi table suiting his style of play..... so he could be in for a tough match here and potentially (depending on the draw) maybe even a "non-victory". ;) I'm sure he will try very hard to prove me wrong, which is why I will go for a 3-2 away win.
Eight Bells v Plough Plumpton For me, this is the toughest game of the all with 2 strong teams playing..... another one that will depend on the draw, but I think the Plough have enough strength to pull off a 3-2 win.

I think that H will end the evening very frustrated as I really can't see the Assissi table suiting his style of play..... If this turns out to be the case, I apologise in advance for any outrages... I've had a bad week in the world of bar billiards, and this may just be the final straw... :P

Excuse me Bob, but where does it say you can give technical tips, especially to H, on how to play away tables, never seen it on this thread before. You really do want that doubles cup. However I will not take offence, and I will enter into the spirit of things. Some friendly little tips that might give the Watermill a little edge against Bobhall. Break all his fingers. Cut off one of his arms. Destroy his car with a sledge hammer, send picture to his mobile just before his game. Insist he may not wear ladies underwear during his game.
Sure one, or all of these help. HAWAY THE MILL MAD DOG

Hehe. If its any consolation Shaun, I have already been told that the cushions throw a little high - which is fine. That in hand, I already know how I am going to approach the break and bobhalls "suggestion" has not affected this. I am sure you will enjoy watching me make a pigs ear of it this evening!
See you shortly!

Tommo first then..... Horns Lodge 3 Mill House Z 2 Zeds have been averaging 4-1 per match so far, but this one will only be a 3-2. Kevin Stevens to win a good game for the Lodge. Eight Bells 2 Plough Plumpton 3 The Bells have dropped a couple of clangers recently, but there is a lot resting on this match, and with the Swan Menace returning they will have just enough to tip the balance in their favour. No points here I'm afraid....... think the Eight Bells will be asking you to tip them to lose again soon so they can get back to winning ways! ;D Points this week.... 14.0 + 3.0 Special Bonus = 17.0
