Now me..... A few thoughts for this week only.... Horns Lodge 3 Mill House Z 2The Zeds will take the brush to the Lodge, but it will be a low scoring match. No points for the result..... but will give myself a bonus as there were no scores above 5k. ;)Woolpack 1 Plough Lower Beeding 4A welcome home win for the Woolies, with Malc winning against his old team. No points for this match..... :'( United Services Club 2 Greyhound 3A close 3-2 away win, with Trevor hitting big for the visitors. 2 points for the result, plus a bonus with Trevor hitting 6.7k in his win.Hurst B 3 Watermill A 2It will all depend on the draw...... tossed a coin and it came up heads..... 3-2 home win. Lucky old heads..... 2 points. ;DBrewers Bravos 2 Brewers Arms 3The table didn't seem to be playing very well from the scores in the Monday Brewers Derby..... but the Arms will win 4-1, despite Adam playing tonight and will he hit big providing there are no foreign objects left lying around under the table.... :o 1 point for the away win.... and 9k+ from Adam earns me a nice bonus. ;DWatermill B 1 Hurst A 4A 4-1 win for the Hurst team, Bobhall hitting a good score. 2 points for the correct result, plus a bonus point for Bohall's win.St Francis 1 Laughing Fish 4I think that H will end the evening very frustrated as I really can't see the Assissi table suiting his style of play..... so he could be in for a tough match here and potentially (depending on the draw) maybe even a "non-victory". ;) I'm sure he will try very hard to prove me wrong, which is why I will go for a 3-2 away win. 1 point for the away win...... no bonus points as H certainly proved me wrong, even though I could possibly try to claim a point for "motivation" I suppose.... :o ;D ;D ;DEight Bells 2 Plough Plumpton 3For me, this is the toughest game of the all with 2 strong teams playing..... another one that will depend on the draw, but I think the Plough have enough strength to pull off a 3-2 win. 2 points for the correct result. ;DPoints so far.... 14.0

As stated above, I do not think that it is fair that teams should be given advance notification here about possible quirks on another teams table such as this..... especially on the day of a match. >:( St Francis v Laughing Fish fish will like the top i wonder if you can get the break putting right hand side on it if so H will realise early on and the fish take this 3-2 tonight with H hitting 6k+ les and ray winning to manly and matt win for home team ...... and I can easily understand why SpecialOne was less than impressed..... Excuse me Bob, but where does it say you can give technical tips, especially to H, on how to play away tables, never seen it on this thread before. If somebody wishes to give such "advice" about a table, a PM or other "private" means of passing the information over is obviously fine...... and I think that it is perfectly reasonable to state after a match has been played that the table had a roll, break was tricky, pockets whippy etc as that is just reporting on a result. So, here is a question for SpecialOne....... what penalty / punishment should Bobhall receive (if any) for his post..... ??? ..... and who will be the "lucky" person who has to check his underwear when you next play against him? :o ;D ;D

That's very kind of you Bob. Smoked salmon is always a fav of mine, although I am a bit bored of FISH today. No lemon on the salmon, alergic. A side dish of green and black olives with garlic, feta cheese and jalapinos would be nice. A vintage bollie would wash this down nicely, although a dry cava would be a acceptable cheaper alternative. Stilton, water biscuits and a tawny port to finish. Would prefer not to be served by a bloke dressed as a schoolboy (bit gay for my tastes). French maid or young lady from Tailand will suffice. Looking forward to next week TSO

As for his punishment. Confiscate his Barbie collection for one week. However let him keep his 'Earring Magic Ken', don't want to crush the poor lad.

Hold the ladyboy from Thailand. ::)

A very generous response from Spesh..... As for his punishment. Confiscate his Barbie collection for one week. However let him keep his 'Earring Magic Ken', don't want to crush the poor lad. ..... although slightly worrying that he seems to know a lot about Barbie! :o :o ;D Personally, I would have opted for deducting the number of points from Bobhall that H scored against me..... but I can be very mean sometimes when I lose! :P ;D However, in view of the spirit in which you have taken the matter I will award 10 special bonus points to GraciousOne......and I hope Bobhall will provide a veritable feast when you play them. 8-) ;D

On that note, just a thought - if there is any kind of stuff people dont like/can't eat please let us know - everything is homemade so we are always able to accomodate Thanks H, I don't think I've ever noticed any of our team refuse any type of food! ;D We have fond memories of the Lamb stew with dumplings that we enjoyed at last week's team plate match. Just to warn you though, our team next week should include Robbie the Buffet Slayer, me - "Don't get between Ros and the food" and Nick - "I haven't eaten tonight, I'm hungry" ;) I think Bobhall should be made to sit down and watch a Chelsea match - he seems to know quite a lot about them! ;) This should be in a pub full of Chelsea supporters.

Quite a coincidence, have just chopped some cayene chilli's, frozen but grown in my garden last summer. We are having curry and I am doing a little side dish. Leeks, from the garden, with green beans, garlic, from the garden, and red and green chillis. Have 3 cold cans of Kronnenburg at the ready. Will that be enough?

Just waiting for the write up of the Woolpack v Plough LB match to complete the scoring for this week.... 8-) So, it must be time to see if there are any special bonuses to be handed out...... ;D Bobhall implied that IanG had broken the rules with his tip for this match..... Horns Lodge V Mill House 2-3 away win Kev Stevens & Dave Tiffen, all the usual suspects from Mill but only 3. Top score 6K. i believe this should be minus 3 points for not saying names also minus 3 points for predicting 3 players to lose from the horns lodge team. ;D ;D ;D IanG hadn't, but then Bobhall then tipped 4 players to win in 2 of his matches...... Brewers Bravos v Brewers Arms well the brewers will win this 4-1 i guess ur asking which team well jock dilly derek and trevor win spud wins for home team tonight Eight Bells v Plough Plumpton with nick and doug back a 4-1 home win tongith with ros and denise winning to good old ron takes one for visitors ..... so I think I will have to deduct the 3 points from Bobhall instead..... although I won't be mean enough to also deduct the 8 points for predicting that 8 players will also "not win"...! ::) ;D Spud can have a bonus point for getting his priorities right...... 8-) Never mind tipping to lose or tipping the usual suspects, what about tipping matches at all Mr Giffen! Does the all-important Brewers derby mean nothing to you? Tottenham Vs. Arsenal has nothing on this match. ;) ;D And Detective Inspector IanG can have a bonus for proving how important it can be if you are observant enough..... sorry Spuddie I didnt mean to offend anyone just in a rush to get my predictions in. Yes an all important match which will have an impact on the league table & player list. Best get the cctv working with an eye on the table, look out for strange objects placed underneath ;D ...... even if you really don't want to commit to a winner..... ;D Don't be afraid Spud they won't fire you ;D you say what you want to!!! Im sticking on the fench though come on you BREWERS ;D .... he can have a bonus point, although sticking on a FENCH (whatever it may be..?) sounds a bit painful..... :o ;D ;D H can have a "sympathy" point....... I've had a bad week in the world of bar billiards, and this may just be the final straw...:P ..... as clearly losing to me at Redhill on Sunday was a low point in his bar billiards career.... ::) :P ;D ;D And Mad Dog Spesh had better have a bonus point for showing his mean side..... :o Some friendly little tips that might give the Watermill a little edge against Bobhall. Break all his fingers. Cut off one of his arms. Destroy his car with a sledge hammer, send picture to his mobile just before his game. Insist he may not wear ladies underwear during his game. Sure one, or all of these help. HAWAY THE MILL MAD DOG ..... just in case he thinks of doing this to me the next time I have to play him! :-[ :-X ;D Perhaps he needs to see if the Blues latest signing needs the above treatment instead..... special one hurst top is easy and so is yours its amazing chelsea spend 50 million on a player and still no trophie this year Tommo joined in..... dunno about foreign, I'd heard it was a coin of the realm. ;) ;D Expecting good scores there tonight, so we can claim a reversal of the USC situation (you know, quote, "plays alright for the Lewes league Monday nights, but not very good on Wednesdays") ;D ;D :P ..... and gets a "wishful thinking" bonus point...... great to see more big scores (on Monday and Wednesday! :o) at the USC..... top of the table here we come. :P ;D While Adam can have a "most bizarre post of the week" bonus point for this effort.... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ..............hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha love it Spesh obviously likes the good life..... Looking forward to next week TSO .... worth 2 bonus points that one. ;) As was Ros's proposal for Bobhall's punishment..... I think Bobhall should be made to sit down and watch a Chelsea match - he seems to know quite a lot about them! ;) This should be in a pub full of Chelsea supporters. Bobhall was clearly not keen on that idea...... and I'm not sure as to whether I would want Bobhall as a waiter in a restaurant either..... and i was only offering special one what ever food he would like so when they come he is disappointed with the selection i might give him bread butter and slap him with a wet salmon ;D ;D ;D ..... I'm not sure I have ever been in to one of "those" sort of establishments! :-[ :-X This idea sounds much safer to me....... ;D Rob. you should provide those nice piping hot Chicken Kievs for the visit next week - in honour of Mr Abramovich. ;D ;D ....although Tommo then tried to start a cat-fight...... ::) R u saying Special One is a pussy? :o He grows Dorset Naga chillis in his garden. ;D But let us leave (almost) the last word to our gracious Spesh.... Will that be enough? ......Only 3 cold cans Shaun..... that will never be enough!! ;D ;D ;D Which gives us the following special bonuses for this week.... SpecialOne - 4.0 Tommo - 3.0 IanG - 2.0 Ros - 2.0 Adam - 1.0 H - 1.0 Spud - 1.0 Bobhall - 2.0 minus 3.0 = MINUS 1 ;D

.... he can have a bonus point, although sticking on a FENCH (whatever it may be..?) sounds a bit painful..... :o ;D ;D A FENCH of course is a cross between a FENCE and a BENCH, as anyone in Alfold will tell you. ;D Here are a couple of examples of what one looks like:

Third can just slipping down now. Didn't have the curry, just the veg, which was fab. Wife and daughter rejected veg on grounds that it was too hot. Love growing and cooking stuff. MAD DOG
