The match between the Albion D and the West Hill was played in the usual way ie lots of banter, mickey taking and insults.
the Scores
Doug 1,150 8,340 Chris Tupper - Chris off early but I couldn't capitalise. A nice 6 k break from Chris took the win.
Terry M 4,500 750 Micky Winder - An awful game by both players with whinger falling over the line
Terry R 7,970 2,440 Colin Smith - Colin off early but Terry only built a small lead. Colin never got going at all and Terry killed it off.
Terry C 2,980 9,620 Terry never settled and Kevin took full advantage with two breaks to get the highest score of the night.
Micky Hall 6,430 1,880 Jeff Dobson - Jeff was yet another West Hill player off early with the break and Micky played a steady game to clinch the decider.
Albion D 3-2 West Hill.
All that is left is for me to carry on regretting the post match kebab with extra chilli sauce.

Gardeners B 2 3 Romans B
Richard Wooton * played first so he could return to his sick bed, opened with just on 5k, TJ balls straight back only to leave both up on 50/10 split, Richard then made sure after Tj had another black peg, 60 - 14500 0-1
Bill Kerr * caught by slight right hand roll off at 1k, Gareth Lloyd unable to get balls back. Bill really did not get going but with a bit of luck and determination built 4k lead, Gareth did get it back all to late 5610 -4360 1-1
Ian Lelliott opened with 5k. Dave Anscombe got them back and going ok at 1.5k only to miss ball. Ian in process of another 5k break had ball middle of table took no chances and missed ball but knew game was over as long as away from black peg 830 -5720 1-2
Rick Cunningham * opened with 1.5k, Marcus Chipman struggled on table and Rick kept building his lead 7110 -2240 2-2
Nigel Senior * opened with well worked 8.5k, touched when got into awkward position, Dave Ingram had a few unfortunate double kisses so Nigel first back on break game over 1060 - 13250 2-3
good evening with plenty of banter,

Romans A 3-2 Montreal
Peter Aylemore 1610 - 3600 Gary Mechan - a nice early break from Gary put him in front, a lead he never gave up as the rest of the game took place at the top of the table.
Dave Nicholls 4000 - 1960 Mick Barsby - a similar game to the first one as Dave got an early lead and try as he might Mick could not peg him back.
Ross Pettiford 5500 - 1720 DJ - the only game of the night won against the break as Ross played an excellent game with his second score of over 5K in consecutive weeks, both against the break. DJ could not get going Ross barely put a foot wrong - DJ's early offer to Ross of a drink of coke proved accurate ;D
Matthew Knight 3970 - 1770 Moppy Scott - 2K off the break proved the difference as the top of the table was very tough tonight. Moppy did get the balls back once but broke down. He was happy with the 80p lime and water afterwards :)
Rose McGuiness 100 - 2050 Trevor Hocking - Again Trev in front early and kept there, although it was still very close when Rose knocked the black peg down going for a tough shot down the middle. At one point Trev sunk all the balls, which were at the top of the table to get the break back which was a great effort considering the difficulties everyone else had.
It was a good night as always with the Mont.
