we have our champions for the 2006-7 season
Jean Over is the Ladies champion her 9th title
getting his first at the first attempt - but not without overcoming some stiff resistance, was our very own world Champion - Mr Kevin Tunstall
Gina Sherratt, last year's winner was runner up to Jean
Barry Holt previously 4 times champion of Sussex was this years men's runner up.
Well done to all who took part - a great advert for Sussex Bar Billiards

As part of the "stiff resistance" mentioned above (not quite stiff enough, however!), let me add my own congratulations to Kevin on winning the Sussex title at his first attempt.
To win the tournament yesterday he had to defeat, in order, the following players: Chris Reeves, Gareth Lloyd, Graham Lewis, John Slee, Mark James & Barry Holt. (You could make a half-decent team out of that lot).
I'm sure all Sussex players will join me in wishing Kevin every success when he bids to bring the All-England title back to Sussex later in the year.

Excellent two days of bar billiards over the weekend, and well done to all winners, Sir KT it is nice to see a rookie!!!! win the title. Both days saw a high standard, and were exceptionally run. We must not forget all the work that goes into organising these events.
