Laughing Fish 3 - 2 Watermill A
Chris Ashford 1950 - 4630 Chris Nikolaj Les Whiteman 2360 - 1980 Geoff Rose Jim Ashford 1510 - 2960 Kim Stenning H 14560 - 560 Norman Cragg Andy Brooks 3590 - 1530 John Staplehurst
Table was not easy. My score was acheived by staying on the break - Norm didn't have the best of luck during his goes at the table.
Good night with the Watermill guys, came down the last!
Now....where the bloody hell are Tarratts to sort out our goddamn bloody table?!!!!

Table providing a good test for all players tonight. Accuracy rewarded, complacency punished. Exhibition from TSO in the last game. Good selection of sarnies.
Tommo passed 100k for the season for the first time ever in the Mid Sussex league. Only taken 30 years! :o ::)

.......Up-to-date table. This week all Premier played each other and likewise all 1st Division - so no bonus points were up for grabs.
Hurst A are Div 1 Top Dogs following a good win over closest rivals Brewers, whilst the Greyhound lost ground when they were brushed by Plough Plumpton who have found some tremendous form recently.
Watermill B are once again off the bottom, after beating their fellow-strugglers Woolpack 4-1 at home.
Premier: Mill House Z 22 20 2 87 23 107 Plough PG 22 15 7 70 40 85 Watermill A 22 15 7 64 46 79 Eight Bells 22 13 9 59 51 72 Greyhound 22 12 10 59 51 71 Laughing Fish 22 12 10 58.5 51.5 70.5 St Francis 22 10 12 52 58 62 *Plough LB 22 7 15 43 67 49 *1pt deducted

Watermill B - 4, Woolpack - 1
Paul 1520 - Lyn 2290 Good opening play from Lyn left Paul playing catch up for most of the game and a few of those white wooden things meant a good win from Lyn and a good start from the Woolies
The Flying Dutchman 1600 - Nigel 630 Tricky game this one, both players struggling a bit with all the balls on the table but some steady work from TFD leveled the match.
The Pub Landlord 3510 - Ann 1270 Ann struggled a bit early on but played some great shots later, but some lucky shots from TPL (along with some good shots) gave the home team a 2-1 lead.
Brighton Gav 2600 - Jan 1520 Good solid play from both players with Jan a bit unlucky on more than one occasion. Good work from Gav sealed a team win for the Bees.
Mark 1890 - Malcolm 1810 Very close game for the finale. Malcolm off to a good start off the break and Yours Truly matching him. Nip and tuck all down to the last ball which I managed to sink in the 100 for an 80 point win.
Many thanks to the Woolies for a good fun evening, some good close games and result could have gone either way, and to Vicky (Pasta Queen) for the food.

Eight Bells 2 Plough LB 3
I didn't write down the opponent's scores for the first 2 games in my book, so I will give a 'best estimate'.
Table was playing beautifully, with 6k from Doug and 3 scores just shy of 5k for the oppostition.
Ros 3330 - Kieran Budd* about 2k Doug* 6270 - Steve Whyte about 2.5k Denise 1710 - Mark Webber* 4930 Tony D* 1110 - Geoff Parsons 4570 Trevor 170 - Steve Vizor* 4860
Well played Kieran - he really had me on the run until I got the break back near the end of the game.
Thanks to the Bells for the lovely Thai green curry 8-)

BREWERS BRAVOS:2 USC:3
Bravo:7240 Mick:2900 Bravo never seemed to fail to get the break back on his visits and put the frame away from an unlucky Micks grasp.
Spud:5790 Sparky:6780 I started like a sloth and Graham well punished me with three 2k breaks. I made a last charge 5k break but ran out of time sadly. Good frame all told.
Paul:3210 Andy:4940 This was apparently Andys personal best competitive score so very well played to him. Kept himself in front all frame and left Paul too much to do in the end.
Lynne:4240 Bill:3020 Another personal best on the night, this time Lynne enjoying the limelight. An excellent 2k5 break ensured we went to a decider. Bill found the break right near the end but also ran out of time.
Nikki:1310 Ron:1970 Try as she might, Nikki could never quite clear the balls to edge ahead and Ron eventually took the frame and match with some good shots.
I thought it was a really good night of billards, with some excellent performances from a lot of players. Thanks to Graham and co for a really nice evening in good company.
Cheers all

Spud:5790 Sparky:6780 I started like a sloth Have a picture in my mind of Spud hanging upside down under the table! ;D ;D ;D ;D What a brilliant results service we have: All results in, and a report from all eight matches within 24 hours of them being played. 8-) Well done everyone, makes Website job easy - and I expect most beneficial for Fixtures/Results Secretary Roy as well. 8-)
