Just for the record, our match could easily have gone 4-1 the other way.........It just seems to happen that the more we play the luckier we get. ::) Mr Mike 4310, *Paul Jobbins 2690 (Mr Mike steady and Paul leaving himself too much to do towards the end. No hint at this stage of the drama to come.)*Barry T 560, Darrell Skinner 530 (Felt sorry for Darrell here, he was coasting it about 2.5k ahead and Barry tried a shot up the middle out of desperation and felled the black. Darrell then contrived to do exactly the same with his next shot. :o :o :o :o A titanic struggle then ensued, with Barry needing the 200 to win, and potting it!) tommo 3760, *Chris Kirkham 1120 (tommo with some careful 50 play, got around 2k ahead and then, against his better nature, unaccountably tried to play a split! The 100 went clean but the 50 whipped round and the ball parked right in front of the black. Managed to cut it away next shot, but definitely a brown trouser moment ! ;D) So that was that. In frame four, Steve King bt Alan Downs by 3380-2940, and the last game was close too, Graham scoring 2840 and Colleen with chances to win after the bar, but unfortunately felling the black peg when going for the 200. Bring on the Hurst A in the Final! ;D Although the form book will show that they have breezed through with three 5-0 wins, whereas we have really struggled to get through each round. :'(

Brewers Bravos 2 - 3 Plough P/G
Lynne Moyes-Robb 930 - 3340 Darren Newnham* Good come back from Lynne (1k5) in the last 5 minutes but an unfortunate white peg wiped out any chance of catching Darren. (0-1)
Adam Bateup* 4860 - 2590 Jan Bithell A nice 4k+ break from Bravo was enough to secure the win (1-1)
Paul Moyes-Robb 2550 - 2520 Chase Newman* Cracking 200 shot from Paul with the red to take the game (2-1)
Spud* 1860 - 2020 Ron Sheridan Both of us struggled and came down to a back of the table points grabbing, all came down to the 100 to win... (2-2)
Nikki Hinkins* 930 - 2280 Dave Knight* Pretty much the same as game four. Everything seemed to head to the back of the table and neither player getting the break back. (2-3)
A very enjoyable evening with the Bravos at the Horns. Thanks to the Horns again for supplying the pizza.
Looking forward to the Final ;D

Well done to all the Finalist's it's good to see some different teams making it through. :( :(I missed our semi final & the chance to lock horns with Tommo again but on the upside it was great to see my old mate Q who made the 100 mile round trip to come & see me on wednesday for a pint & a game of snooker at my hotel when I was on my Training course in Torquay ;D
Graet to see you again & thanks for making the effort.
