Wellie 2 - Atlas B 3
The first two games were close and only won by Gina and Charlies final breaks. Game 3 was comfortable for Mal playing on his Thursday home table. Game 4 was won by Tim, who had spells of bad luck. Game 5 was a bit of a crunch game. Spencer tried and tried but he just couldn't beat Kim.
This all means 2 things I believe. 1. Atlas B win Div 1 and congrats to them and 2. Mr Pope owes the Wellie team a round for winning 2 games.
In the final league table, even the Byes beat us this year. It has not been good on the tables but it has seen some fun.

Romans A 4-1 Bib & Tucker B
Toni 1900 - 1550 Darren Dave R 2750 - B/P Phil Rose 1680 - 1700 Ryan Ross 2270 - B/P Kenny Peter win - lost no player
Unfortunately the Bib only had 4 players which didn't distract from an excellent night with the usual mix of banter and 'wit' ::)
Table was quite tricky which led to some unusually low scores and almost a huge upset in game 3 with Rose missing the chance to defeat Ryan by a very narrow margin as he sunk the last ball in the 100 to win.......
I dread to think what the banter would have been like if he had lost ;)
There was also some protecting of the Summer Handicaps by messrs Reay and Tinnion but we know that Nige is not fooled by any of that nonsense
We also won the 'friendly' doubles match afterwards by a huge margin
There was also some tasty food later in the evening which just added to a really enjoyable night - if only every game was like this one.

Well done to all the league winners and looking at the tables all well deserved the premier was close until the last few weeks of the season when the Albion D had a long losing run, Division One went to the last week, and the Gardeners A have had a very good first season in Brighton on winning Division Two. Let us hope we can at least maintain the number of teams for next season and prehaps even find some new teams to enter.
