Plough Plumpton v Mill House Z Any thoughts that we might have an easy ride here were dispelled last Wednesday in the T/C. Zeds will be happy with a 2-3 defeat. Laughing Fish v Plough Lower Beeding Plough will put up a valiant fight, but Fish too strong at home. 3-2 to them Hurst A v Greyhound I don't think the hound will find this a happy hunting ground. The Hurst A however are firing on all cylinders. 4-1 home win. Brewers Arms v Watermill A This one's about self-belief. The Watermill have plenty but the Arms are just re-discovering theirs - and will prevail 3-2. Horns Lodge v Brewers Bravos This one will be close, but home knowledge should be the deciding factor. 3-2 to the Horny ones. Watermill B v Hurst B The Hurst B did not get the run of the balls in the T/C but could do tonight. 4-1 away win. St Francis v United Services Club The Frannies' form has nose-dived recently, whereas the USC have come through the Doldrums and out the other side: 3-2 to them. Eight Bells v Woolpack The Bells are now without the Old House Menace, and the Woolies will be buoyant after their Plate semi-final victory. 3-2 either way, but the Bells just shading it.

Only me PPG 2 Millie Mollie Moos 3 All with break
Fish 3 PLB 2
Hurst A 4 Hound 1
Brewers Arms 4 Watermill 1
Horny Lodge 3 Bravos 2
Watermill B 2 Hurst B 3
8 Bells 4 Woolie 1
Now the tricky one, full of controversy. Those that know me will be aware that I always shy away from controversy, and that I am at my happiest when I am sitting quietly in a corner, making a half of bitter last all night. However we are faced with a crisis. Unconfirmed reports suggest that whilst The Saints were being 'dealt with', by the Woolie last Wednesday, a St Francis member signed the other club team, so as they could practice on the Saints table. THE HORROR. CCTV is being studied, a Fatwa has been declared, death squads are being assembled, and the St Francis committee has gone to defcon 1. I will spend the next few days sitting in my bunker, watching Rambo films. My prediction is 'THE MOTHER OF ALL BATTLES', Saints to win 3-2, defying recent form. TERMINATE WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE. TSO

TSO ;D ;D ;D Couldn't get on our own table due to a Committee Meeting, we were not happy bunnies ??? so thought it good for the 'other club' to benefit from our spending power even if only 3 players plus technical backup made the arduous journey through all manner of difficulties. Anyway thought the 'bung' had guaranteed the CCTV was nobbled for the evening ;) will be asking for a refund :-* Probably be served 'Scud' and chips on the night :)

My theory on this clandestine operation is that the USC members took advantage of the free evening to claim their own table back. ;D You will recall that the tops were originally exchanged prior to the Watermill v Zeds Team Cup match at St Francis on 26th January. We knew this to be so, as a) the break was easy; b) there was a long throw on the cushions and c) there were an unprecedented 8 scores of more than 3k during the course of the evening. :-/

Your theory could explain why the Saints is now an easier top than the United ;D ;D ;D but how did you know about this when we did not, stewards enquiry called for and all bets are off :P :P :P

I know it is a bit late in the season but let's have a bash at this:
Plough Plumpton 3 v 2 Mill House Z hmmm, my head says a win for the z'ds, but I am going to back my team and say 3-2 to the Plough
Laughing Fish 3 v 2 Plough Lower Beeding 3-2 home win for the fish.
Hurst A 3 v 2 Greyhound Hurst A at home, gotta be a 3-2 win for Hurst (Trevor and Geoff for the Hound, Bob Hall will hit it big)
Brewers Arms 3 v 2 Watermill A 3-2 to the arms.... Horns Lodge 1 v 4 Brewers Bravos The Bravos played the Team Plate last week at the Horns so I am going for a 4-1 win to the Bravos....
Watermill B 1 v 4 Hurst B Going for a 4-1 away win for Hurst B
St Francis 2 v 3 United Services Club USC the victors taking the win 3-2
Eight Bells 2 v 3 Woolpack I am going for a 3-2 away win for the Woolpack.
