Yes indeed, and hopefully Lorraine will give us a report with scores etc, though it has been a full weekend for her with the Lower Div Masters taking place today as well.
Memories of yesterday - two excellent tables prepared by Sparky; a competition running completely to schedule (well done Lorraine!) and some excellent vegetarian chilli provided by the club, many going back for second helpings. :P
Well done to Semi-finalists Bob Hall and Graham Daniels. Bob gave Henry a real run for his money both in the section and for the top break of the day. And Pete Edwards a worthy winner of the other section, maintaining a high standard of play throughout the day.

Here's how the 3rd Masters went, with scores to follow: Neil Burchell and Steve King were early casualties on the table hired for the day, whilst Barry Timson was the only top seed to fall on the Club's own table. :o However, both tables played superbly throughout the day, and many thanks to Sparky for preparing them so well with his usual TLC.

Congratulations to Peter who played superbly to keep me off the table for most of both legs. I had to go into turbo mode to chase at the end of both legs, and sadly fell just short.
