Something very bad had been done to the table, which is a shame as I have been able to get it pretty straight for some time now. Made it playable
Neil Henry 1920 PRM 660 Good 2nd game of the season from neil, PRM never got to grips with it
Bob Ellis 1160 Bravo 2860 2 fluked 200 from Bravo, could have had a black( facebook). Setback for Bob's masters quest.
Peter Geal 1790 LRM 100 Very tactical game from Peter, protecting a slender lead. LRM had a black trying to develope the table
TSO 5940 Spud 2260 TSO quickly off and spud with a 1k+ lead. TSO continued recent poor form until he banked a 5k just before the bar. Top stuff from Saints insperational skipper.
Foggers 1960 Nikki 580 Foggers soon in control. Bedders nighty nigght mad dog

hurst a 4 mill house 1 rob 5540 alan 5290 pete h 8770 graham 2750 pete e 1500 barry 7390 lorraine 5540 clive 3070 jenny 2810 mick 2720 Just a bit of commentary to add to the bare bones provided above......... !st game Rob raced away but Alan came back with 2k at the end and actually had first go at the 200 to win. He missed and relieved Bob potted it in the 100. 1-0 2nd game A good solid performance from Pete, as usual not taking any prisoners: Two useful breaks early on sealed it. 2-0 3rd game Zeds badly in need of a hero at this stage to secure the one point needed for the Championship. They found one in Barry. 2-1 4th gameMama Hall away with a nice 5k break, leaving them awkward, tommo off cheaply. The game was won and lost well before tommo cleared up with 3k at the end. 3-1 5th game - another last ball job. Jenny looked well beaten, but came back with a magnificent 2k at the end including first go at the 100 to win by 90. 4-1 A good, gutsy performance by the Hurst, and some nice food put out by Boball: Sarnies included Coronation chicken; cheese; cheese and onion; ham and also chicken nuggets and turkey twizzlers. :P

Horns Lodge 1 - Watermill B 4
Roger 730 - Mark 1170 Tight first game with both players finding the white peg. Mark just managing to hang on for a win.
Tom 1600 - Paul 1800 Another close game - some good play from both. Nice break from Paul left Tom a bit too much to do.
Mike 970 - Gavin 1990 The landlord potted some nice shots, gavin got a bit lucky on occasions but a good game in the end.
Dave 1240 - Martin 3070 Dave was a bit unlucky early on and some good breaks from The Flying Dutchman took the win.
Kevin 2370 - Lee 1470 Lee a bit unfortunate off the break but played well. Dave found some nice shots to take the win.
Thanks to the Horns Lodge for a friendly fun evening and for the lovely pizzas.

Plough P/G 5 - 0 HHUSC
Game 3: Ron Sheridan 5130 - 840 Mick Kirwan Played game 3 first, Mick going well off the break but a short one up let me on. I managed to get the break back quickly and put a 4k5 break together, Mick not having much luck at all after that.
Game 2: Darren Newnham 5090 - 390 Bill Boyce A nice 3k opener from Darren, but lost it on a cushion shot on a ball behind the peg. Managed to recover well and stick a 4k+ break in to take the frame.
Game 1: Dave Knight 3870 - 560 Andy Guy Dave managed to take the lead early on and a late BP from Andy left him no time to catch him.
Game 4: Chase Newman 1530 - 350 Ron Wales Both players struggling to keep the points they earned. Ron put in a couple of nice 1K breaks but a few unfortunate pegs allowed Chase to take the win.
Game 5: Dave Ingram 11360 - 1910 Graham Sparksman Graham opened up with a 1k6 break which was followed by a 5k break from Dave. Graham earned a few more points but Dave managed to get the break back again and a nice 6k+ break to seal the deal.
Great night and good company with the guys from HHUSC.

Trevor Appleby 600 Paul Jobbins 8940 Trevor having no luck at all & paul played well even with the big screen footy right besdie him ;D Tony Driver 1900 Chris 2060 A scrappy close match ended with chris potting the 100 to win. Doug 10520 Iang 930 What have I done wrong ? got Nick in the first round & Doug in the 2nd. Doug started well but let me on when his one up went past the 50 I did a bit but not much & the every time he went to the table he go got the break back oh well well played mate. Roy is missing three scorecards:
"Good afternoon Because of the bank holidays and postal disturbances, I am short of three score sheets I have all the match results, but can anyone please advise on players scores for the following matches Brewers Arms v Plough LB Watermill A v Greyhound Laughing Fish v Woolpack kind regards Roy"
If you are able to help him in any way, please get in touch with him by phone or e-mail.

Roy says thanks for the great response, and offers these writeups on the three matches:
Brewers Arms 4, Plough L/B 1 A strong Brewers Arms win at home over Plough LB made sure Hurst A made up no ground in their division 1 championship chase. Richard Jeffrey overcame Kieran Budd’s break to put the Arms into an early lead which was extended when Trevor Greenyer beat Mark Webber. The Farmer hit 5K to dispose of Steve Whyte and claim the match win. Geoff Parsons grabbed Plough’s only point when defeating Derek Taylor but Dilly hit the Arms second 5K score against a determined Steve Visor to make it 4 for the home side.
Watermill A 4, Greyhound 1 The A Team stay in a comfortable third place following their home win over Greyhound.
Laughing Fish 4.5, Woolpack 0.5 Laughing Fish flirt with the drop zone despite a commanding home win over the Woollies where the visiting side had its chances. First up was Jan Hinkins who just couldn’t make the break stick against Keith Fantom. Les Whiteman made it 2 for the Fish taking frame 2 from Lyn Storr. Jim Ashford managed a second drawn game of the season in his match against Malc Fuller and it was match won as Andy Brooks scrambled home against Nigel Bransby. Anne Stockinger fought hard to take the final frame from Ray Carpenter but the point eventually went to the Fish skipper.
