Hi Graeme,
Sent an entry a few days ago for me and Terry Molloy in the singles and together in the Doubles. Can you let me know if you got them. Something else I posted at the same time never reached it's destination.
Thanks

The format suggested by Dave has been used in Brighton this season and it appears to have been a great success. The four premier teams have played each other four times, twice at home and twice away. In these matches the away team has three breaks. We have also played the Div 1 teams twice home and away and yes bob we give away all five breaks on both occasions. The Div 2 teams have played against themselves and against the Div 1 teams but not the Premier sides.
I think I can say that all the Premier players and Div 2 players have been happy with the season in it's new format as every team has had a similar number of games to play and there hasn't been the sort of one sided matches (between Premier and Div 2) we have seen in the past.
It is only a suggestion but why not give the new format a try next season? It is always be changed back again the year after.

Just a note of thanks to Jean and her team for an excellent day today.
Well done to Brighton B for a great win.
Myself, Terry and Alan won six out of six and Jean, Sandra and Chris won five out of six.
Special thanks to Bella for paying all the other teams top players. :)

Brighton B 2 vs 5 Redhill C
Brighton B well and truly outplayed at the Albion.
Following an accident involving a pair of welly boots I will send the result in once the score card has dried out.
A message for Graham Holman if he reads this or if one of his team mates can pass it on.
We played - you won - I asked you what you wanted to drink - you told me - I get wrapped up in my captain duty - I forgot to buy you the said drink.
Please accept my apologies.
You will get a large version of guinness next time we meet.

A good night for the Dyke B away to the Brewery Tap The table was playing a bit tricky.
Game 1 Terry Molloy with the highest opening break all night of 2700. The game then got scrappy before Gareth settled nicely to take the first leg against the break.
Game 2. Richard off cheaply then he and Terry Race had a couple of goes before Terry killed the game.
Game 3. Terry Coghlan and Chris Reeves had a couple of goes each before Terry ran out the winner.
Game 4. Marcus again off cheaply and like the other games it became scrappy. Micky Hall then settled to take the game and the match for the Dyke
Game 5. I took the black peg out with my first one up but Nigel failed to capitalised. What then followed was probably the worst game of the night but I came through to notch my first win for the Team.
Final Score
Preston Brewery Tap 1-4 Dyke B

Dyke 'B' vs Dyke 'A'
Game 1 Micky Winder killed the game off with 10k on his very first visit against Terry Molloy. Game 2 Terry Coghlan had two breaks to win the game after Charlie found the right hand peg with his first visit. Game 3 Former world champ against current world number 3. Tupps broke down on 4 k and Terry Race ran out with about 9k Game 4 Micky Hall won on his first visit with 9k against Colin Smith Game 5 Me against Kev Simmons. Neither of us scored on our first visit before Kev scored two breaks to reach 8k.
B team won 3-2

Regarding Redhill C vs Brighton B We are trying to re-arrange this for next sunday and I will be confirming with Richard in the next couple of days. We are mindful of the new regulations brought in this season and we will of course be complying to the letter.

Tommo,
Point of order here. Mickey and Sheena represent the Stadium not the Albion.

Hi all,
Many thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a great day (apart from going to work) Although at my age birthdays tend to be a bit quieter than they used to be.
