I'm not in favour of the new format either, and I voted against it at the AGM. However, the proposal was on the forum for quite a while before the meeting, so most people would have been aware of the proposal. If they had strong views either way they should have turned up at the meeting to vote. If people don't turn up to vote, they shouldn't moan about it afterwards. I was at a festival and am strongly against the format any chance of an egm?

All competitions the player who's name is first on the draw sheet is responsible for making contact failure to do so will result in the other person going through Proposed Richard Garrett seconded Dave Gordon Hope u don't mind rich gunna poke me nose in due to not being at agm this ruling would be ok if comp sheets get sent out over the last season I got 1 comp sheet and the rest was on the forum so most of the time people don't know who is first out also with all respect it should be down to both players to contact not just 1

Can't see this working not many people will play comps on play by dates especially from the first round probably find a savage drop in numbers That is your opinion, like i said in my proposal, a few people would prefer this way, so it's up to the AGM to decide. Just giving my opinion seeing as I won't be at the agm due to being at download festival

There have been a lot of talk this season from various players with regards to league games v competitions. Some saying there are too many comp dates and not enough league games and some complaining about comp games being cancelled etc. So, maybe ALL competitions (Not Team cup games) should be on played by dates so we can have a lot more league games ? Can't see this working not many people will play comps on play by dates especially from the first round probably find a savage drop in numbers

Mabey because Wallingford b is a lot stronger than Oxford b If that's your argument, does that mean you think Oxford C is stronger than Oxford B then ? No mark it seems that I was only getting into a b team selection so I hose the stronger of the 2 b teams I wanted to play c team for purely more games Jesus it's like an investigation of you want more info write me a letter I'll happily file it away ????

Oh ok. Seems a bit odd to me that you refused to play for Oxford B because you wanted to play in the C team, yet are playing for Wallingford B Mabey because Wallingford b is a lot stronger than Oxford b

Wander why played inter area on it Saturday and there was nothing wrong with the table Pete button put 10k through it butch also put 9k through it Barry radford hit 8k on it

You would be quite within your rights to claim the game the choice is yours Surly they don't need to claim seeing as it was arranged with the 2 players and Adam has no show waisting eddies time Eddie should automatically be given the game and Adam thrown out the comp

Really not to pipe Alan Lowe up or slam down on Phil but they played a singles comp on the glads table the other week and Phil playes glads in the Wallingford league not taking away the fact Phil played really well The decision was made after, and because of, that game Craig. Ahh ok I apologise In that case

I will spell it out - I have never played a single competition game on a certain table in 5 years, bet you can't guess which one it is milko You won't ever be playing at Kennington in a singles competition Keith, not while you're playing for them in the Eynsham League anyway. It was decided at the last committee meeting that if a player plays a table in a different league then he/she will not play there in competitions (apart from team comps). Really not to pipe Alan Lowe up or slam down on Phil but they played a singles comp on the glads table the other week and Phil playes glads in the Wallingford league not taking away the fact Phil played really well

Can't help but notice these comments, yet Kevin Godfrey was at a massive disadvantage as the Masons team played on the Glads table on Thursday....... Makes you wonder why the game last Sunday was cancelled... ??? Not trying to be funny Mark but Kevin is not the issue I'm mearly pointing out that matches should be played on neutral tables making it equal to both parties. Then kev is an issue as You said nutetal for both parties if you played there last Thursday dave was surley at an advantage

As regards the semi-final played at the Gladiators i understand you or your team did not want to travel to Didcot/Berinsfield to play and your not keen on playing at the Kennington club which meant their was limited choices if your suggesting something is going on be open and tell the full story. In my eyes you are being slanderess Why don't we try kicking up a fuss for no reason that's normally the best excuse rich but couldn't agree more if there is a problem t needs to come out

Quite correct Craig i did.On17th March I notified Alan Oliver about this match being played on Phils home table in Wallingford league .Howcome it's not fair to have played a team semi - final on a table because two players play their in another league but it's ok to play a singles ?. Makes you wonder if certain officers are following in similar practices to FIFA? Different leagues can't blame Alan he is being fair with table choices I can only imagine he would have been fairer if you didn't moan about everything he does
