Mariner has urgent work taking place on ceiling to repair leak. Therefore table out of action till work complete.
Dover has been advised and will try contacting Bevy to advise.
Will update once works are completed, hopefully not too long.

Thought i better give everyone a quick update.
The landlady at the Mont has decided now is time to move on and we are all devastated. She purchased the table from Tarratt when they decided no longer to rent them out.
Dad (Bob) has purchased table and it's keeping him entertained through lockdown.
The plan is once the pubs fully reopen and get up and running we will look for a venue with both teams in mind.
The Mont may still reopen as owned by a pub co and we can put table back in and carry on. If not possible we will search for a new venue and have a few in mind.
Hopefully we can keep it local to the hanover area as majority of players live near by and is not just a once a week meet up.
Will keep you all posted. Gary

• The drinking of alcohol should be done in moderation and teams are encouraged to look after and respect each other at all times.
That point rules out many teams playing this year in the Brighton League :)
Only joking, good work as always Stu.

I'm a member of a local sports and social club that has a pool and 3 snooker tables. All are now being played. The only restrictions being 1) Use your own cue 2) Sanitise your hands before and after each game. I'm assuming they are cleaning the table / balls before the first game or after the last. Completely agree Grant. Most pubs i have been in have no restrictions at all. Billiards we sanitize balls, pegs and table if feel need to and hands before each game. Snooker is done for you and only 2 per table. At the end of the day it comes down to individuals. I have been in supermarkets, in taxis and to bbq's but some people haven't left the house. If people want to do anything including getting on a plane or go to the supermarket and pick up a loaf of bread 50 people have checked the sell by date on, it is personal choice. We had an inhouse tournament on wed and everyone left with a smaile and pub will remain. Landlady was to see both teams in the pub. Time to just adapt or wait, it is not a go at anyone as all individual choice.

Well we are giving it a go on Sunday with an in house competition but pub only open to select locals as first day to see how things work.
There are a number of measures in place to see how it works. As a team we have been meeting up in park through lockdown and will continue to meet up now pubs are open and support our local.
Some people will remain against going out or playing etc and each person has to make that choice. This thing may never go away so we must try and adapt somehow or things will never get moving again.
Boxing is coming back and the UFC is back already with new measures and im not sure we will get as close together as those sports.

Mine arrived in a series of emails, simply says expires 31st March 2021. There are no flights listed yet for next year so cannot test it. I have applied for a refund, received an automated reply that's all. This is what my email says Sav. Looks like will just use voucher for Guernsey next year. Credit vouchers will be processed before refunds and may be used online for Aurigny flights, on any route, for any passenger and are valid for one year.(travel date may be later than one year) and will be emailed to you.

Just had aurigny voucher for full amount Unfortunately expiry date 31st March so will now have to email for a refund Hi Jean Did this come via email or post? They said originally that booking had to be made by March 31st 2021 but flights could be after this time. Is this not the case? Kind regards Gary

Have just cancelled flights and if they give credit voucher can use more than a year in advance so covers next year. Have asked for a refund in the email but if a credit voucher, not the end of the world.

Had a non refundable booking with Pandora Hotel. Got in contact and have cancelled without a penalty. Just await the decision of Auringy now but i see number of flights is now minimal so only a matter of time.

Terrible news for everyone concerned. Thanks for making this difficult decision early. Just been looking at the Aurigny website. They are swamped with flight amendments/cancellations up until 19th April at the moment but will move on to the next batch when these are dealt with. It does not say whether further concessionary cancellations will be offered. At worst, those with 'smart' bookings can transfer their flights to a later date (next year?) free of charge. Agreed Sav. Not sure would be comfortable rebooking for next year with airline. Unfortunately alot of airlines will go to the wall. If offer a refund, think will have to take it for now.

www.aurigny.com/#flight-search
Flight bookings after 19th April Aurigny confirm that we are operating as usual and have not been instructed/advised to stop operations to any of our destinations. As such normal terms and conditions continue to apply on all tickets, irrespective of the reason for cancellation or change. (Government advice, onward flight cancellation, underlying health issues, holiday cancellation etc.)
Passengers are kindly requested to make their changes/cancellations via the Aurigny website or their travel booker. Our small Reservations/Customer services team are not able to make exceptions and we respectfully request that you do not call or email to request one as our staff are currently receiving unprecedented call levels. Also looks like will lose flight money also unless this is updated or stop flights due to lack of demand etc.

Literally just emailed the apartments we stay at for any info. just read on itv.com (not sure how reliable this is)that from Thursday anyone arriving from anywhere will have to self isolate for 14 days. With only 6 weeks to go Trying to decide whether to pay the balance for our accommodation which is due by Friday. Also here Jean www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-guernsey-51932765
