Beware of e-mail scam offering to rescue friends
Milko and I have both received an email that seems to come from NigelS but I am sure this a known scam so do not respond as I reckon many others of you will get this one.
Extract of known Email Scam listed on the Internet
Empowering Youth to Fight Racism, HIV/Aids, Poverty and Lack of Education". Then the person - whose e-mail account has been hacked - is portrayed as being stranded in Africa.
Haven't been able to contact Nige yet.

I received the same e-mail and assumed that it was probably Nigel having a laugh, as when I saw him last week he was at Hove Station..... but perhaps he was on his way out to Africa then, although with just a small bag in his hands, he was travelling light! ;D

This is surprising, because Nigel's is a Hotmail account, and Hotmail is supposed to be 'safer' (as regards being Spam-free, etc).
Having said that, it's on the MSN messaging side which I rarely visit, preferring to do everything via BT and Yahoo.

I also got " his " e/mail today, and have tried to contact him, but so far, no luck, and I have sent Nigel an e/mail to tell him, but as yet, like the others, no reply.

Sorry should have said i have been in contact with Nigel and it was Nigel that said hes e-mail had been hacked so he is aware of it.

Ok Hi guys, just to let you know my search in Africa for a doubles partner has not gone well!
I feel a bit of a prat here.....but I responded to a genuine looking mail from windows hotmail saying they needed my details to keep my account open as they were looking to delete idle accounts not used. I will admit to being a bit gullible on here if it stops any of you guys doing it too! Within a few hours my email password has been changed so I can't get into it and someone has been sending some nice messages on my behalf.....
Any emails you send I can't pick up now on the old address
The email from is Window Live Hotmail subject Hotmail Account Alert.
Anyway rest assured I will make my match tonight and not needing any funds to get back from Africa. I am sure none of you have fell for that one although I probably would have!!Hopefully I will have a new email address soon and will let you know what that is.
