How does the bar mechanism work

Hello everyone.

I am reassembling a table I bought 20 years ago, and have the timer, but not the bar. It is a Sams table.

Could anyone help me out with some pictures of how the timer controls the bar, and how the bar is kept in position. The game isnt the same without the bar drop!
